I think we are watching this too closely in the short-term.
I would like a weekly or monthly progress report or projected schedule toward construction completion and production start-up.

IMO, it is consolidating around this 6 to 6.75 range. Following same pattern it followed before the crazy run up. Charting perfect

Anyone know when we should be seeing the financial reporting for the latest quarter?
Posted on 8/23/21 at 11:17 am to CollegeFBRules
we are investing in an idea...a promise whats to come. they arent producing tons of lithium now. we just got out of the proof of concept phase.

Going to be awhile... they are a 6/30 year end so their reporting deadline is extended

Sli shareholders when they hear about the shelf offering

When fully up and running, what is the “promise of technology” worth? You guys found anything close to comparable out there?

I'm starting to just get a little nervous with small caps in general. The russel 2000 has been under performing market since June or July if you look at 1y,2y,3y.
That's something a lot of people were nervous about before covid, now it's happening again. It performed better than the market coming out of covid crash as you would expect; but that trend broke in june this year. People say this indicates a looming market crash or significant correction if history is to repeat itself when your high beta stocks are not acting like you would expect in regards to overall market movement.

Every red flag out there indicates a market correction coming.
I was hoping SLI would boost before that happened but dont think it will.
The fed will likely raise rates, and has too. This will shock the real estate market for a bit but provide some underlying stability long term.
Will it impact a MEME type run up for SLI, most certainly. But the long term needs for lithium does not change nor the technology.
During 2008, energy stocks held their ground pretty well.
FWIW, I'm short leashed on everything else and half cash in my 401K

Yea, the only reason I bring it up, is maybe we are comparing low-cap lithium stocks to high cap lithium stocks, and that might not be a good comparison given current overall market trends.
I've started pulling money out of my account every time I make a sale as of 2 or 3 weeks ago. I'm working towards getting to 20-25% cash; not pulling out completely or really changing my strategy, but I don't like the current world politics, and how the market is acting; so I'm pulling out a portion of every sale. I also have a kid on the way, so I cant be as invested as I'm used to.
For SLI, I'm kinda just sticking to my guns now. I need to get to January for like 75% of my position to go long term gains.

Biden's green energy plan, botched Afghan withdrawal boost China's rare metals monopoly
At first blush, it may not seem that the Democrats' $4.5 trillion infrastructure and spending plans and President Joe Biden's bungled exit from Afghanistan have a nexus. But they do in China's rare metals monopoly.
Beijing already dominates the rare metals market needed for electronics, electric car batteries and computers, a reality made more painfully obvious with the current computer chip shortage that is slowing production of new U.S. cars.
And now with the haphazard U.S. withdrawal from Kabul, one of the world's largest untapped deposits of lithium — estimated by some at $1 trillion in Afghanistan — is poised to fall into China's hands just as Biden has ordered that half all U.S. cars be electric by 2030 and congressional Democrats prepare to vote to invest tens of billions of dollars more to push that goal further.

I was referring to the fact that right after he posted message that we dropped about a dime or so per share. Figured maybe some holders here were panic selling after that post of his.
