Hindsight is 20/20 and how many of have gotten burned over the 6 months from holding stocks too long convinced the top was nowhere in sight, only to see profits evaporate? You kick yourself when it keeps running without you but you kick yourself for holding if things go south, only with lighter pockets.

Yeh, Alb market cap has exploded up $6B in the past month (almost 30%).

No reason to apologize. You have money in hand. Technically, I haven't made shite. You took long term gains. Most comments are in jest. Believe me, I could fill up a thread with my regrets! Just like the $10k in bitcoin when Wiki first posted about it on here. Was a bitch trying to buy it. Gave up. shite was like $10-20/share or some shite. Not buying the $10k of facebook at like $18.36. Buying Amazon at $35-36 and selling around $500. Thought I was a fricking genius!!!

I think it'll run until 10yr starts pushing above 1.5%...then all the risk-on trades will pull back like they did in Feb-Mar. Seems to be setting up similarly in my opinion. All the risk-on trades are running right now, look at crypto. Government bill just like back then, just got pushed through which is going to expand money supply even further. If we get to $10 and the 10 yr is at 1.5%; it's gonna be hard to not start trimming for me, going to be a battle of whether to hold out until Jan for long term gains, or take some profit. Hopefully we get some news of substance before I'm faced with that decision. SLI is pretty much controlling my portfolio now; it's almost 15% of portfolio; with 120% unrealized short term gains. It's a great, albeit nerve-racking position to be in.

This. I took some profits at $4. IT never hurts to make money, but it damn sure hurts to see what that could have been.

Closing in on 190k for me aside from what I gifted to my girls and grandson. Gave my nephew some. Had gotten some for my mom and dad. We put all those in a family trust. Got smart and gifted some before it shot up in value. Would like 200k even just to make calculations easier! Almost topped it off last week, but was banking on a dip if no news. Oh well.
But mom did say that since she gave my brother $20k to buy some, I can have half hers.
Told her to keep it. I'm good. Better to keep more in lower tax brackets anyway. If I'd have been smart, I would've been buying my girls more in their name early on.
