Black, red, black, red.

I know it is part and parcel with the penny stock space, but I get nervous when Companies are continuously involved either directly or indirectly in SEC enforcement actions
SEC Action
If you can see through that stuff and convince yourself the Company is not involved or aware then that is great. I struggle with that (not unique to PQEFF for me).

The title of this thread is Standard Lithium. An occasional mention of other stocks is understandable, but let’s not derail the thread with penny stocks. There’s a whole board for that.

Seems to have settled in mild red... happy with a 7 handle until next uptick

Yep. It is mirroring the tues wed pattern pretty closely.

I would love some freaking news! This JV thing is absurd. Freaking lawyers...

Same but I can't be mad about the action without it up to this point.

I still think Lanxess might try to just buy SLI outright. They’re large enough to make it happen and that could be the hold up.
Posted on 8/5/21 at 12:29 pm to Shepherd88
At this point, I think lanxness would have to drop 5B to get it.
Price tag went way up.
I could see a tesla buy out before lanxness for those dollars

I agree price tag has gone up considerably. I wouldn’t be surprised if Tesla, Lanxess, and this Galvenix got into a bidding war on it. This is pure speculation of course.

What happens then? To me as a shareholder

Depends on the terms of the sale. You may receive like kind shares of the purchasing company, receive cash for your shares at a specified amount or some combination. All dependent on what price point the buyout is negotiated for as well.

You sell, and reinvest a small portion in H&B to celebrate?

And that price point would obviously reflect anticipated future revenue to a large degree, yes?
So we wouldn't be talking $10 a share...

All kinds of ways to value of a company. Different sectors have their own calculations but yea typically it’s based on a multiple of revenue over several years.

Setting a limit sell at $100/share for all my shares.

If the offer became public, the stock should chase the offer amount. Auriphana did this. Gauchos favorite Pqueef as well.
I would likely sell my shares once it ran up to the offer amount so that I would not have the lag in time where the paperwork is being processed and my money is stuck in limbo

I learned from the AMC thread that setting a super high sell price drives the price up. You should set it for $1,000,000
