In the case of Standard Lithium, various managers from battery and car manufacturers have already convinced themselves of the project and the technology on site. I think research for this article may have been done exclusively at Tigerdroppings MT.
Even down to the 4.00 choice hat.

I assume this is Tweet from Elon mentioned in the article as it relates to SLI in case you have not seen it

So he has known about it for more than a year at least.

Damn they are more hardline and out in the open with the tesla musk suspicion than we are.
Some Lanxess investors, getting a little impatient with them. Yes, pretty open about interest from other companies and lots of smoke around Tesla. Hmmm...where have I heard all this before?
Lanxess project just the beginning. They're lighting a fire under their asses. I understand they want to build mega facility in most cost efficient manner, but at some point you have to go with "good enough", get to work and hammer out the details as you go. That's the hold up. Trying to get perfection on paper, which NEVER quite works in real world anyway. I'm gonna go out on a limb and assume SLI is pretty confident they are getting patent approval. With Galvanic/saltwerx 180 on developing their own extraction technique, I wonder if their patent will basically force others to start from scratch and have to do something TOTALLY different to avoid patent infringement. Would be cheaper and easier to just work out deal with SLI.
Mintak and Robinson always seem to have that "we know something you don't know" smirk about them.

Longer. They've been monitoring from near and far for years. Supposedly.

lets hope covid spike doesn't mess with this progress .

Trust but verify. I try to apply this to as much in life as I can.
I always listen when you talk on here but it is good to see small things like that to at least somewhat hold up what you are saying.
I actually sat down one day when I had nothing going on and went through your posts trying to poke holes in any of your stances or find some inconsistencies that would raise any alarms. Not because I mistrusted you but more to keep a check on myself.
I wasn't successful. You have been pretty consistent throughout the thread.

I can't verify. Unless I see it with my own eyes, it's rumor and I have based zero of my purchases on any conjecture regarding Tesla/Musk or anyone else. It's more of an FYI. I mean, he's obviously aware of them from his tweet. That's the only thing I can confirm with any high degree of certainty. If I knew they had worked out a deal with Tesla, I'd liquidate everything I reasonably could and go all in. Then I'd be sure and tell y'all.

Been off on some of my price predictions. Got ahead of myself a few times. I think they'll be correct at some point, but I've quite trying to figure out time frames. It did however, light a fire under my arse to get more shares faster and that's has paid off so far. Can't see myself getting a ton more unless we get a really bad overall market decline and a irrational drop in price. Then, I may overload the wagon. Barring that, I may add a little here and there as I start reallocating my portfolio. I'd have to spend a ton to really make a significant change in my holdings.
ETA-for example, I thought we'd be near or a little over $10 by end of the month. But still waiting on PEA for Tetra, JV finalization, and some other news. Really thought some more stuff would be out by now. Not to infer that's bad, I just got a little too hopeful for MOAR NOW!!!!

In this situation, all I can do is get as close to verify as I can unless I drive up there and start scoping the place out myself
I haven't put a ton of weight into anything Tesla/Musk related. I'm more looking at the possibility of what you say in that Lanxess is just the beginning. Them getting the patent and teaming with others is driving my interest.

I have tried going back through Galvanic and Saltwerx press releases etc... and I cannot find where they explicitly state they are trying to develop their own DLE.
Am I missing it? I know they acquired the 100K acres in leases - but the amount that they name drop Standard makes me think they are in the wings with us as opposed to trying to develop from scratch.
Nothing from their management suggests they have a Dr Robinson over there or any real process to develop that technology. Brent Wilson gives me the promoter feel more then the technology science feel.
I want a counter view, but they seem to be banking on us.

I found something showing a connection between galvanic and lilac. I'll see if I can dig it up.
ETA:
I can't find it now but at one point Galvanic or Saltwerx had a page on their website listing "key consultants" and there was a Lilac Solutions logo.

They def seem to know something we don't know yet. I've noticed Robinson's little smile and the twinkle in his eye when he talks about the magnitude of the resource in the Smackover Formation. I believe he mentioned in one interview that the resource could supply the world's lithium needs? I've been hearing the rumors of a mega plant. I would like to know more about Lilac and how their process may affect SLI's future plans.
Posted on 7/29/21 at 10:41 am to bet84
I believe lilac projected 2 yrs before they would have a sample plant. SLI has quite a head start on them.

Me neither - in actuality a Tesla/Musk push probably memes it and signals my exit if it moons off that.

I would take a meme moon and exit. It'd be a lot less interesting but still profitable

Back into the 6’s.
Man this thing is all over haha.
Let’s see if we can hold this time; third times a charm.

I'd have to see the situation unfold to say what I would do.
If you have a major jump to $20 or something from some Musk tweet or Reddit getting a hold of it then I would probably bounce and re-enter when it drops.
But you get an actual contract where all or a major portion of SLI production goes to Tesla then I'm still in. With some profit taking at various levels.
Every situation is different.
What I do know is that I am enjoying watching it climb over $6 right now
