I don't think it is consolidation as much as it is lack of activity.
In the end it won't matter since any PR will push it higher. Just an observation.

Yep. And watching Tesla's FB page you see comment after comment about how bad for the environment mining these REE is. You'd think some of the "greenies" would be catching on. And why waste money on PR at this point? There will be the correct time to do it, like a BIG press release that gets lots of eyes on it. I have a feeling PR will be free and not needed. Just wait until they show that the water is potable once they are done with it. Things will play out. The only unknown for me is max production per site. They've said in interviews that the Tetra site and any new sites that were primarily for lithium extraction will be much more efficient than extracting tail brine from Lanxess. Higher flow rates will benefit them greatly. I think SLI will own upwards of 100,000 tons/yr by 2025-27, if not sooner based on prices and demand. That's from Lanxess and Tetra combined and assuming 60/40 split.

100k tons of lithium carbonate equivalent per year?
100k mt/year x 10k usd/mt = 1 billion/year in revenue

Tesla after all spends nothing on advertising but stays in the news because of their CEO and technology involved in their products.
I am more than good with zero publicity and a slow rise (or even modest temporary correction under $5). The technology is the thing and the thing looks very promising
