Can't you just run the bots that FTX allows through that exchange and then whatever extra ones you want through CB Pro? 3Commas allows use of multiple exchanges. Should save a good bit on fees for those ~20-30 bots I would assume?
Actually yes you're right. No need to limit to one exchange.

Is it really as simple though to just use a VPN to set up your Binance.US and get it linked to 3Commas and then after that do everything through 3Commas without it and your golden?
That's pretty much it, but if you live in Louisiana, I'd caution against circumventing Binance restrictions. I don't know what the penalties are if we get caught.

$301 today. I'll take it. At least the alts are moving fairly well while bitcoin continues to trade sideways.

$258. Realized I'm overextending. Turned all the bots off and only reactivated the 5 or so that are closing deals. Still have 48 deals open.
Trying to get that closer to 20-25.

ETH has started to trend back up, hopefully that is an indicator the other stable coins are going to regroup. Even DOGE has recovered by half of yesterday's bloodbath.
ETC is still deep in the shitter.

Can you explain how those work? I don’t see much info on it.

Thanks, LSU777 and Lord, I didn't think of running a vpn for Binance. I plan on taking profit in fiat at first to reinvest for more bots. I was leaning towards FTX due to the discounts on trades, especially using 3Commas, with Kucoin probably my second choice.

the only downside to kucoin is that there are not nearly as many bots. other than that its the best Cex imo.

Are you using any bots on KuCoin? I tried for a month by setting up a tight grid with XRP for about two weeks and didn't make much so I gave it up. But I think was due to the fact that XRP was just crabbing at the time.

I do some mining and have always wanted to dip into this.
1- Does anybody know If I can mine directly to FTX?
2- Have any of you moved to a lesser profit to maybe work faster? I could be wrong, but it would seem tome that taking profit in .5% would turn the trades faster and lock in profits at a higher rate.
Good stuff though.

$239 today. Not terrible. Need that weekend bump to clear some of these bots!
I believe in one of the videos he said that some people do use .8% I'm sure you can use whatever, but you have to take the fees into consideration.

Here's what I am seeing. If I place a 1.5% profit take, it's never at that. In some cases almost 2%. Most cases 1.8%
I have also seen a lot of bots not do anything for 12 hours. etc. Smaller profit setting, in my mind, could solve that.

Not to get personal, but would you share how many bots and investment you are working with?

This is why I like the trailing deviation at .2% There are times that having trailing deviation on can actually hurt you. If you wick to your sell price, and the price immediately drops, you will sell below your TPP. After watching it for months, I believe I make more money with it on. Again, there is no wrong way to set these up. If you want your bots popping off more often, then a smaller TPP would definitely do that.

52 active bots with 107k running them as of today. Started with about 70k in August.

The bots take in account for fees.
LINK
This is why your orders are executing higher than your take profit.
If you set your take profit at 1% on coin base a 2% gain is actually needed to take profit.
What I have been asking is why not set these at .1% or .25% and let them rip?
I have some set up like this on kucoin and the one I have at .1% executed three times in the last 20 minutes and one was two minutes after.
One question I have about the trailing take profit is that I notice it doesn’t enter a take profit order on the execution book what’s up with that?

I tried to run 50 bots with $17.5k. It…did not work. Haha. As soon as the drop hit I was dead.
Turned off all 50 and only reactivated the 10 that consistently were closing deals.
Only problem is I still have about 35 bots waiting to close…

What settings are y’all using to start a new trade?
The issue I’m running into with the “start new trade immediately” setting is that when the coin pumps, then dips, I have to wait days for that coin to pump again to close out a single deal.
It seems that a delay in Starting a new trade after a big pump would be beneficial.

I guess my thinking is that you want to make your bot efficient in all scenarios, and your active time proportional to your volume, so that the longer it runs the more volume you acquire, and once it does hit your profit would be the same as if it was just taking profit multiple times with the initial order.
You want to be as close to the current price as possible. If you find that you have half of your safety orders hit and are down more than 5% then I might would increase the volume scale. That’s why increasing volume scale, and having narrow safety orders are important.
