Much to my chagrin, I will need to make a car purchase soon (~2 months timeline), so I am looking into the current rates available.

I’m especially interested in any banks or credits unions that are worth opening an account with if they are offering better rates. I live in Mandeville.

Not sure if you're buying new or used but always look up rates manufacturers are willing to give if you start to narrow down the model you want.

We just got my wife an Acura Precision Certified 2022 MDX for 1.49%/36mo with the program they were running at that time. Looks like they are doing 0.99% for 2024 used models as well which is a steal in this environment. they also have done 1.99% for up to 48 months I've seen on certain model years.

Do you think Truist and Keesler are still offering the best rates on the north shore?
