My wife and I are planning to lease a vehicle from Nissan. What credit score is needed to be approved for a lease?

Whatever it is for a purchase. It's not much different as the interest will change with score like any other loan

Nothing different than a purchase.
But if credit is a problem lease really isnt for you. The purpose of a lease is to save money.

It's about the same as a purchase.
Keep in mind that leasing also requires higher levels of insurance. This seems like it might be pertinent.

No higher insurance in state of LA (same coverage as financed vehicle) on lease.
630 or above is what is neede to lease, 720 and above is what makes the money factor low enough to save the most in payment.
Sorry you are leasing a Nissan in advance
