Which credit card gives you the best cash back or perks?

It depends. At different points in my life I found the Capital One Venture card to be very worthwhile. Later, it was Southwest's Chase CC for the perks. Currently, it's American Express Platinum. For each card, I was at a different place in life and they all serve(d) me well.

Depends how much you spend a month, where you shop, % spending per category, etc.
My current setup:
1. Walmart One Pay - 5% back ordering groceries on Walmart+, 3% in store...I do most of my grocery shopping at Walmarks. also get $0.10 off on gas with Walmart+ and a Paramount Plus subscription
2. Amex Blue Cash Preferred - 6% back on groceries and streaming, 3% on gas...when I don't buy groceries or gas at Walmart. Also big purchases in case there's a dispute
3. Chase Sapphire Preferred - 3% back on restaurants, etc. I hit this one up too since you get a deal using your points to book travel through them

I like my bass pro black card because I buy a good amount of guns and ammo. They have a price match for local competitors and will beat it by 5%. 2% back on fuel and dinning also. Monday’s they offer 10% off so that has worked out well when buying high end glass, guns and bulk ammo. Plus you get 5% back on those purchases.

I love my Amex Platinum. Great benefits if you travel.

Wife just told me she signed us up for a united card and added me but we have to spend 5k in the first 90 days to get the 80,000 miles.
She’s worried about hitting that 5k in 90 days.
We’ve kept separate accounts for 20 years and this will be our first joint card outside of a Sam’s card. I’m fricked if I don’t spend enough and fricked if I spend too much

So, either way, you’re f@cked.

Card holders also get 10% off flights (though this might just be on flights redeemed for points)

The inevitability seemingly originates here. Kidding.

I have United Quest Visa. Good card with nice benefits. Good way to get status. $5000 spend in 3 months should be easy for a baller like you.
