I already have the CSR. CIP is offering 80,000 points for $5,000 spend, then I would revert back to using my CSR.

Amazon Visa now gets 5% cash back on Whole Foods in addition to Amazon

If I had a Whole Foods near me, I'd start seriously considering snagging the card. You can get some good deals there on high quality foods + I spend a ton on AMZ already but not enough to justify a 5/24

In that case the Ink has a good signup bonus and some 3x categories. The biz card isn't difficult with your SSN & sole proprietor. I've done 2 like that. Go for it.

Any of you guys in the MS game want to share some Baton Rouge gas stations that might sell $500 gift cards? I would like to knock out my Q1 Freedom and Discover 5% categories..

This is the correct strategy if you are wanting to accumulate ultimate rewards with Chase. As others have said it will not be difficult for you to get a business card. But before applying online, go to a Chase branch and ask to speak with a business relationship manager. That person can offer you 100k points for 5k spend. They rotate which branches they are at each day so you may have to make a future appointment with one.

Additionally, if you have any interest in accumulating points/miles outside of just Chase, your situation will put you in a great situation to get signup bonuses from multiple different banks, hotels, airlines, etc. if that's something you would value.

I’ve already used the Sapphire preferred & reserve for signup bonuses. I’ve now just gotten my signup bonus from the BOA Platinum rewards card. What’s the next best card for a cash signup bonus offer?

What are the dates(month and year) you got those 3 cards?

Do you have any other cards, and if so, what dates did you get them?

How good is your credit score?

Would you be open to getting business cards?

What is your goal for your next card? Travel/cash back/miles/points with a specific bank/airline/hotel?

I just got a promotional email offering 5% back on restaurant purchases on this card from March 1 thru May 31. So I’m finally pulling this card out the sock drawer.

It’s not really a huge deal for me considering the opportunity cost of not using my CSR.. but it’s nice to see one of my oldest cards becoming more useful.

For anyone interested, a few more AMEX items to report:

- The Mercedes Benz cards are going to be discontinued in January 2019, so if you have any intention of getting the sign-up bonuses for those cards its probably wise to start developing a plan. The regular card bonus is only 10k points so its probably not worth fooling with if you dont have need for the Mercedes credit. The platinum bonus is 60k points. For me personally, I will probably signup for this card to get the bonus and not renew my regular platinum later this year before the AF hits. Then when the card is discontinued in January, it will either be changed to the regular platinum or just go away completely, or I'll cancel that card as well if I don't have need for a platinum card at that time.

- Increased signup bonuses for the Delta gold and platinum cards, and the SPG business card. The SPG card is 35k starpoints with "only" 7k spend. In the past that offer was for 10k spend. Its also possible this card will be going away soon with the new marriott cards coming out, so this is another one worth serioiusly considering if you are thinking about getting this card.

Just smashed American airlines for another 75k bonus. I quit churning for about two years but it's time to hit them hard again.

I got a 50k AA mailer last week that could probably be upgraded to a better offer. I would be all over it if I wasn't still trying to figure out the best way to navigate my remaining 5/24 slots

Is 50k the best offer you can get on a sapphire reserve? I’m wondering if anyone has gotten a better offer by signing up at the bank himself?

Supposedly its possible to get a 60k offer by signing up in branch. You'll probably need to do it with a BRM, who you made need to contact ahead of time to make an appointment with.

The AA cards are with Citi not Chase, and the offers get upgraded pretty regularly.

ILB, if I had a real need for AA miles right now or was over 5/24 I definitely would have already.

What do you mean by 5/24?

Basically, Chase has a rule that if you have opened 5 or more new credit cards in the last 24 months, you will not be able to signup for a new chase card. So for people under that 5 card threshold, they need to figure out a plan for which chase cards they want and when they are going to get them before reaching the 5 card limit.

Generally speaking business cards don't count towards your 5/24 total because they usually aren't included in your personal credit report. And there are a few chase cards that do not seem to be subject to this rule.

Currently churning Capital One Venture card.

My annual fee for CSR is about to hit, I've used my $300 travel credit and I still have 70k UR that I won't be able to spend before next week...I don't want to pay the $450 annual fee. Is my best option to transfer the UR to my freedom card (not sure of the book with chase redemption amount) or should I product change to the CSP for 1.25 redemption?

Will Chase transfer the points with the product change or would i have to transfer to the freedom then to CSP?

Product change to not lose the points or T/F the points to another UR card

Your next year with the CSR brings another $300 travel credit so the AF is $150 after that.

AFIK The best signup bonus for CSR is 50K
