There is a 50k offer out there.
I was targeted for a 60k. Often they come with a one time $50 airline credit like mine did as well.
"Good" is relative but it's not very. I took the deal because I'm always taking deals

This one had the $50 credit too.

I got good value out of my 50k delta offer. Used it for 4 one ways from Green bay to BTR - $350 tickets over Labor Day weekend. So $1400 from one card. I found delta miles to be really good value for regional airports that are usually at a premium. I had a hard time trying to spend them for destination airports.

Europes on sale for 42k. One of those (rare) times that I wish I had the DL miles/card. I'm sure I'll get to it one day.

Is the Delta Gold Amex card (gives you 30k miles after spending 1k in 3months) any good? Or do they offer substantially more miles randomly?
wait for a better offer, Amex is 1 and done with their sign-up bonus', you want to make sure you get the best one.

I bit, JFK-LHR for something around 80k miles in first. Just a crazy deal

Very nice. Delta metal I'm guessing? What aircraft?

virgin atlantic, upgraded to dl amex platinum earlier this year as i was about to lose my gold status with DL and wanted to keep it for another year. I am with DL/amex for at least another 2 years until I lose it.

Any recommendations for a beach vacation around December 2016? I have about 150,000 AA miles that I will be looking to use before the devaluation and would like to take the fiancee to the beach.

Internationally or domestic? Does it have to be premium cabins? Any preference on country/continent? Any other points? Ok to spend a little extra? Ok to sign up for additional Credit cards?
AA miles will just get you there. 150k - pretty much anywhere. Need a little more info for proper recommendations.

Not opposed to either. We've done Puerto Rico, but other than that, I have never been anywhere in the Caribbean or Mexico. I would really like to get out to the Asia-Pacific area at some point, but not sure it will be financially reasonable in this case or what their weather is like in December.
Probably fly economy unless it's longer than 4 hours or so. DFW to San Juan was brutal.

Like I said with 150k aa miles - anything is doable in coach.
E-mail me please or we will crowd this thread with redundant info.

I'm about to sign up for the Chase Sapphire card if anyone wants to do a referral for points assuming they do it on this card. Put your email down and I will send you an email.

Potential bad news on the AA card upgrade churn. The letter I received for my wife's latest app doesn't have the bonus language even though all of her prior cards had been upgraded to the World Elite. Hopefully I get an email or her online account reflects the bonus.

I read about that yesterday. Sucks.
I applied for this card (Again) couple of weeks ago. Haven't been home since but will be back tonight. I am not sure if or not I will receive the bonus letter.

I saw that. At least I got my wife and I in on it once. I wonder if the credit card companies monitor Flyertalk and the like.
We're still pulling in 150k AA Miles and we still don't have the Gold cards so that's open to us at some point for another 50k miles combined.
