No. I had 40K ones until now so didn't send them to a couple people who asked for them. Yesterday, they sent me referrals for the 50K ones

Never overpay? So don't pay off your balance in full each month?

Always pay balance in full each month and avoid the interest or this game is not worth it. I don't know what post you're replying to but they're probably referring to things such as paying more than your balance owed in a month, etc.

Pay the statement balance off in full.

Pay more than owed that will put your balance in "negative."

Always pay off your balance in full each month before billing cycle end date (not due date).

What's the rationale for paying before the cycle date? Lower utilization reported to bureaus?

To keep an optimal credit score at any given time you need to keep utilization between 1-10%. If that requires paying certain bills before the cycle date, then so be it, but actually paying before the cycle date isn't necessary if you fall within that range.
I honestly don't worry about paying before a cycle date unless I know I have an App o rama in the next month.

txtiger and LSUAfro:
You don't want multiple LOC with balances on them. If you go on myFICO you will see how much of a difference it makes if you have 0-1 balances reported compared to 1-4. 1 is fine. You don't want more than 1 card to report a balance on it (for optimal performance).
You have to understand - when most people think/talk of credit cards and leaving balances on them, utilization etc., they are typically talking about 1-2 credit cards. In that case, it hardly makes a difference. But when you have 20+ cards, the dynamics change a little. Imo, your credit becomes more volatile, which is counter-intuitive to the utilization logic.

Teddy,
did you just use the online ink app? I have legitimate rentals and need one for the wife.

Ya, just an online app.
You shouldn't have anything to worry about it if you have a legitimate business. If you don't get instant approval, just wait it out. Be patient at this point in the process, and they will probably approve it.
Call in once you get a rejection if that happens, since at that point you have nothing to lose. But also, since you have a business, I'd almost guarantee they will reverse and approve.
If its your wife's business, make sure she makes the call and doesn't get all squeamish on you and make you do it. I feel like that makes you look illegitimate.

Well...to be fair, we're probably talking about < 10 point difference(8 cards or less) for those with excellent credit which is essentially inconsequential. Good to know I suppose.

For Very Good/Excellent Credit - almost always good to have 0% util.

You're right about that. But then again - for a thick file with excellent credit, except baddies, there is little that is going to be consequential anyway. I'm talking more about the tip of the bell curve.
