Not sure if anyone has posted on this yet but Chase will begin enforcing the 5/24 rule on business cards starting in March.

Did anyone notice one of the main sources for VGCs in BR just pulled them from their store?
Was a big source for me until now. Gotta find other local avenues. Any pointers would be appreciated.

I have been trying for almost 3 hours to get flights using the BA site and I can't find shite. Here are some of the trips I am searching
DEN - AUS
DEN - PHL
DEN - Anywhere in Italy
DEN - Reykjavik
Am I missing a step? DEN-AUS is coming up as 144,000 Avios

What was your main source? haha It also depends on how you liquidate. I used different means for the different cards I get.

Albertsons. I have a few different ways I liquidate :) MO is one.
I don't mind new ways to liquidate. I need to find a local source though.

What dates? Are you flexible on your dates? You have to be to get the rewards flights generally.
You can also look at using Avios JFK-Milan/Rome or Venice. Again, flexibility is the key here. Fly into one and out of one of the others and plan your trip accordingly.
Good luck. Italy is awesome. I can't wait to go back next June.

I wouldn't be quoting 4.5k Avios BA segments. Those go away next Tuesday. Unless he's booking right now.

Some more direct flights on AA:
CLT-ROM
ORD-ROM
MIA-MXP
PHL-MXP
PHL-VCE (think this is the only AA route to Venice)
I'll be in Italy mid June as well

True. But why not go ahead and book right now? No cancellations fees on BA!

Because you're only seeing 1st class seats. Those are 3X the cost in Avios over economy.

I just don't assume that the other party is always ready to book right now. There may be other variables at play. Not all people have the flexibility in making dates work to fit rewards like some of us do.

Trying to book everything right now
I have had a lot of success with BA in the past but I cannot find anything economy right now. I am searching the entire month of March and April for my trip to Austin and can't find a single economy trip.
Our trip to Italy is flexible but only about +/- 5 days. Dec 17-24, return no later than Jan 3

Oh good luck with that. AA and most other airlines black-out most dates around that time.
Why do you want to go to Italy in the winter anyway? Skiing?

JFK-Venice is available on Dec 17th for 55000 Avios + $638 on December 17th.
Rome-JFK is available on January 3rd for 39000 Avios + $406. All are British Airways flights.
You'd just have to work out the Denver to JFK connections. You're a little too far out on that return date. Not all possible choices will show up.

I usually go through drugstores but if you're stuck with grocery then try Winn Dixie.

Thanks.
I'm going to wait a few more weeks for the return dates. I am looking at Aer Lingus flights to Ireland the connect to Italy.
I'm just pissed that I can't find any damn domestic economy flights on BA

When Quarter 2 comes around for Freedom I'm just going to buy $3,000 in WD grocery gift cards and be done with it.
They better take credit for those, don't see why they wouldn't.

Yeah, finding domestic on their site can be a PITA. I find MileSaver flights on the AA site all the time that don't show up on the BA search engine. I do believe you can still call BA and book those seats though.

I would recommend against flying the BA flights as they will all connect through LHR = HUGE YQ. You will be paying more YQ on those flights than you would to buy connections on each end. Flying BA to europe is just not an option as far as I'm concerned. It makes me mad the YQ
