Just heard back from Hilton, they matched IHG platinum to Hilton diamond

That's fair. I didn't realize Chase was cracking down so much. Luckily I started with the freedom and Sapphire preferred years ago and have been dealing with other banks for my recent apps.

Called to cancel and offered 15k MR points.
Basically reducing fee to $25.
Kept card.

Hopefully it's similar for the PRG card. I just recently got the Everyday Preferred and was planning on calling in Feb before my fee hits on the PRG and see what they offer or cancel. (While bring sure to get the $100 airline reimbursement first)

Yeah I did that early last week too. Huge amounts of Amazon gift cards! Haha. Can't beat that 10% back. Hopefully they do it again next year.

They are it seems. Next year's chart has started to leak/be rumored.
Unfortunately though we did not get a repeat of Grocery Stores which sucks a lot.

I hear ya. I'm about $700 in and my wife is about $500 in on her card. We will probably do another $400 between the two of us before year end for presents and whatever else.
That means I need to buy another $1,400 in gift cards to max ours out.
I'll probably buy some Southwest gift cards. Any other good gift card ideas? I wish they had Target.
Can you purchase another gift card with an Amazon gift card?

They opened up a new store of this type not too far from me so I'm going to check if they carry them. Just checked and closest one to you is in Laplace. They are hit or miss on carrying them.

They sent me a letter reminding me the fee is coming up. Should I wait till it hits first or should I call before and threaten to cancel? Of course, I doubt I get any offer like you got

Need some help figuring out what to do...
My CSP is up for annual renewal and its for $125, even though new members get a $95 annual fee. Called their customer service and they won't do anything to credit a few or even give me the $95 annual fee.
I asked whats stopping me from closing my account and then just resigning up to get the lower fee and they said "Nothing"
I'm actually pretty pissed off with how much money I have invested through Chase that they won't do anything. I don't want to close and resign up, because that'll knock my credit being its a big open line of credit and it would be a short credit history of 2yrs on this card.
Advice?
