I saw that change, but I think I would be far more interested in Wyndham as a transfer partner than a primary.

Has anybody checked out the new Wyndham rewards chart rolling out next month? 15k points for any property.

It has me debating on getting the 45k point card for my wife and I and having 6 nights at any Wyndham property between the two of us. Unfortunately, I'm just not seeing any property that just has me real excited. They have a few Hawaii properties, but they all appear to be "just off the beach". I don't have a huge desire to go all the way to Hawaii to stay "just off the beach".

I also see they have a few all inclusive properties in Dominican Republic, Bahamas, and Cancun. I'm not sure if those are reward bookable though, and again, not a big fan of eating just because it's there. On vacation I like to eat good food and drink good booze.

I'm sure the properties I've mentioned would all be fine, but with my wife's limited vacation schedule, we're fairly picky about extended vacations.

Anybody have experience with Wyndham properties?

I think they have a wyndham inside the grounds of the wyndham timeshare resort at Disney. Perhaps 15K a night would get a cheap disney trip?

I upgraded to an AMEX Surpass Hilton card about 6 months ago. The upgrade bonus was 50,000, well now the bonus is 80,000

Anyway, I want to get a Visa card since AMEX isn't taken everywhere. Is it possible to get the CITI Visa Hilton card and link that to my already existing HHonors account?

Yes. They ask on the application for your membership number when you get a rewards card.

Awesome, thanks. I think the Citi bonus is 40,000 right now so that helps. I'll use the Amex card mainly bc the points are more and I won't be upgrading the Citi card. Can't beat 40,000 free points.

Just got the Chase Sapphire Preferred.

The only issue I have is that I might not be able to spend $5000 on it over 3 months.

My expenses just aren't that high.

Where there's a will there's a way. CSP is a great card.

CSP is 5k spend now? Used to be only 3k but you could get 2k if you went into a Brick & Mortar Chase branch

I just added my SO as an authorized user for the account (5,000 points ) so I'm basically to the $4,000 threadhold already once her card gets here.

IHG is offering the 70,000 points again and it doesn't expire until 5/31/15. I had my wife sign up before the end of March since that's when it was ending last time. Good news is I'll still get that many at least once I close.

I assume if me and my wife signed up for this IHG card we would total 140,000 total. I know nothing about this card, what are some options of things you can do with these points besides book holiday inns ? All I have now is a Cap 1 Venture that i use all the time...

Guys I know this is a little off topic but I've got 3 credit cards I just paid off...what to do now? My score is still very low at around 650

Best way to increase my score pronto? Get a secured card? Keep low balances and keep them paid on my 3 cards?

Thanks!

Yep.

IHG also has Intercontinental and a couple other nice brands. We have been talking about an over the water bungalow in Bora Bora that you can do for 4 nights for 200,000 points. So you and your wife just need to earn/purchase 30,000 more each and you have an unreal vacation paradise as an example.

Yea Bora Bora looks awesome but 2000 each for a flight is a little out of my range San Juan looks a little more reachable for about 450 each... Thanks

They've started the process of combining the programs. There are no more USAir miles. It's all AAdvantage now.

Ya, what a bummer that was. Was hoping the zombie links would keep working for another 10 days to get my wife one. Oh well, she'll be getting an AA card soon enough. Would have been easier with 100k miles in hers like mine.

Barclay's better not frick up that $750 a month for 3 months for 15,000 points offer they gave me on the US Airways card. Believe me I'll be making some phone calls on that one.
