And please don't let my tips give you a false sense of confidence. 80% of people that get involved in Forex lose. And I wouldn't want you running with any little tidbits of information compared to my 20 years of messing with it and knowing full well how treacherous it is.

I'm old enough to remember when 50 bps was a big hike.

The market shot off while the inflation came in at 7.1%....let that sink in. Yes, it was lower than expected by a crumb, but it is still a ludicrous rate. Did you receive a 7.1% increase in pay this year? If you did, good for you, most will not so you are losing money month over month.

Wall street is not main street. Couple this with the fact that the dollar is losing steam, further driving up inflation in the coming months.

Fear of tomorrow's dots is keeping the dollar afloat today. I was hoping to get another penny out of my pair before lunch. If people panic at overly aggressive dots tomorrow, I'm going to use that opportunity to add to my $ shorts.

How about when the market dropped/gained 500 points or more in a day? that was pretty big news. Now it happens every few weeks.

Said that as soon as the market opened

Are you thinking the war in Ukraine ends next year? China moves away from Zero COVID? Both? Something else?

All the advisors in my office would gather outside to smoke and talk about it when the dow was up 100 when I got into this mess.

I do see food prices where i shop weekly slowly coming down

I dont see that at all

Eggs are over $6. Six-pack of Coke is over $4.50. Orange juice just went up again last Wed. Most varieties of sweet tea are now over $3 a gallon. Loaf of honey wheat bread is up 50% in the last month. Stopped buying potato chips completely, due to prices. And thats at all of the 3 major grocers that serve my area

Can’t speak to everything else but eggs/poultry are being exacerbated by the bird flu right now.

Psychology of numbers

"Cooling off"

Still 7.1%

My net worth contracted by 20%

Cooling off...optimism. Nice.

This seems like a good spot to park a USD/CAD prediction for future recall. With it currently at 1.36500, I'm gonna say below 1.30 next year.
