quote:guess you missed that scripture that teaches us we aren't supposed to use grace as a license to sin. Contrary to common Christian thinking, God Almighty is very serious about us not sinning. Christ said go and sin no more, didn't he? He didn't say go back to shackin up.
All law, no grace. That ain't Christian.

Dave's company routinely wins best places to work in Tennessee or Nashville or whatever I believe, but there always seem to be outlandish stories come out also.
People who work there are usually weirdos.

You didn’t even copy the worst part of that email.

quote:
If you are on this email we would ask a favor for Ramsey…would you help us? Bob’s phone number and email are here, and we would ask that you contact him TODAY and tell him all the evil horrible stories you know about us. Also, he lives in Spring Hill so if you see him out and about, be sure to congratulate him on his virtue. He needs to sell this story to pay his rent and the dirtier your story on us the more we can help him. When you call please do not be mean, Bob already has a lot of anxiety and we don’t want to add to that. If his phone is overwhelmed or he doesn’t want to hear your story, you should contact Religion News Service and tell them of Bob’s amazing grasp on virtue and truth. You can also tell them of all the people that have been helped by his pursuit of truth throughout the years as we all have followed his “career.” It is time the world knows about Bob and the blessing he has been to so many.

Those emails, if legit, are incredibly unprofessional. I can’t imagine any business issuing a public statement with such a petty and vindictive tone.

Good friends of my inlaw work there. You have to be fully onboard the Ramsey method to work there, to say the least. It appears to be very cultish, so of course the reviews would be glowing.

Ramsey did not want to fire Hogan but he had to. He recently fired a pregnant woman for not being married. People were questioning why he would fire her but not him

Get that harlot off the company health insurance in Jesus' name!

Is it just me or is Dave not as popular as he was a few years ago?

After the "rehabilitation" set up during the book deal for Hogan. Had to wait until he got his money after the book tour. Babystep millions.

I’ve got a real problem with a company acting pharisaical. You see that don’t you? I’m talking about firing someone fir getting pregnant.
Is not Christ our righteousness? If we’re expected to be perfect, why did Christ take on sin to the point of death?
Is that clear?

Does the church kick you out if you sin?

I thought it was pretty good. 7.5/10
Journalists deserve no quarter.

Wasn't vindictive enough.

Modern “journalists”, absolutely. All ethics have left that profession, which once was a pinnacle of ethics. They used to report the stories for the public’s awareness, regardless of backlash. It used to be an honest and thorough account of the story. Now we get bullshite hit pieces that are largely falsified and used to push personal agendas or political agendas

Dave Ramsey is a big effing loser.

Maybe, but that's an interesting tone coming from self-proclaimed "people of God."
Can't have it both ways.

Look, for a lot of people, his plans make sense.
But I think people have had just about enough of this holier than thou message.
We expect our business leaders to be a douchebag. He is acting more and more like one in recent years. Which is fine... except for this "Christan" message that he loves to shove down throats.
Simply put... Christians don't act like he does. And I think people are on to that.
