does anyone on here work for this company? i'm considering going to work for them but would like input from someone already in the company. I would post on OT but doubt I'd get a serious answer.

I have worked for them in the past. We parted ways on very good terms. I would say they were a great company to work for.
Both the president and the BR account manager are great and bright people.

What kind of role would you be in?
I have also considered them.
They used to be mostly in Houston but are expanding...buying Chemtech helped in the LA area.

I've worked for them ever since I graduated LSU (BS Chem 2006, BS ChE 2007). I have loved it ever since. Of my class, I can tell you Dow and Dupont do not give out company trucks and expense accounts on day one. The working hours are very flexible. If your accounts/projects are up to date and your customers are happy, then you can go play golf all day for all your manager cares.
Also, CTI is the world largest privately held petrol-chemical service company. So, the benefits, I found, were better than the competition (Baker Petrolite, Nalco). Now, there are folks who did not like working for us after a short while and left the industry as a whole, but I find that few people leave CTI to go to the competition. For the guys talking about our Chem Tech acquisition, that is on the utility water side, so I cannot speak much to that. I work out on the energy chemical side, deep water Gulf of Mexico.

A real good friend of mine (works for CTI) lives in Houma but works out of the Broussard office. He does Deepwater in GOM as well and loves it, but he started in shallow water. I know his boss is out of the Houston office, they both like to show customers a good time.
The Baker guys are the same way, played golf with a few 2 weeks ago. They all have country club memberships.
Also have a buddy that works for Nalco inside Dow St. Charles, don't think they live how CTI & Baker does.

What role are you looking at? Been with Champion for since December 2010. My experience has been nothing but positive.

I worked for them for over 10 years both internationally and domestic. For this sector of the oilfield, I can only recommend them as an employer
Are they the perfect employer, no, but that is hard to find. Nepotism and good ole boy network exhibited there is the only negative I can point out in the company. However, you will see this throughout all oil companies except for the supermajority.
If I ever ventured back into that sector of the industry, they would be the company I would like to work
