Buying a used Audi, any wiggle room at the dealer?

Found a 2017 Audi q3 prestige model with 21k miles on it. Dealer wants around 30k....for those that buy cars or have bought used Audi’s before....is there any wiggle room to negotiate? A buddy of mine bought a used one from the same dealer and he said there was none. But I think he may just be a bad negotiator.

Check other Audi dealers and carmax for comps. Everything is negotiable

BMW doesn’t negotiate on CPO’s, not sure about Audi.

Any idea what MSRP was? That car should trade/wholesale about 30-35% off sticker at this point IMO.

Yeah they’ll negotiate. I hope its not audi of new orleans though. Bunch of a-holes over there.

The 2017 X5 in my driveway begs to differ on this statement. I got the dealer to come $7,500 off asking price

There might be some wiggle room, but my understanding is dealers typically have used cars aggressively priced and you can’t do a ton of negotiating as you would a new car.

this was the case with the last 2 i bought. i shopped about a 300mi radius and went to dealers with best price. only real negotiation was a trade on one of them. neither was willing to come off the price, although they did move on other items. i was ok with this because i knew (and they knew i knew) that they were the best price around.

quote:BMW is a pain to negotiate with, but there is always room. BMW likes to give the impression that they are the best and as a result have little room to negotiate. Just takes a bit more work.
