Best place to buy new tires
I just purchased new tires for my vehicle. I checked Discount Tire, which is usually my go to. I also checked a local tire company. I chose Sam's Club, because road hazard was included with each tire, whereas DT and the local company was not.
I ended up saving nearly $300 by choosing Sam's Club. The downside? You have to be a member of Sam's Club, however, you may still save money by joining if you aren't a member today.

Even if the screw may have magically ended up there when the tire is 3 years old and has 50k miles on it.
I don't know if it is unethical or not, but I haven't paid full purchase price for tires in about 5 years
If you're doing what you are implying here, you are a no good low down thieving dishonest piece of shite.

I some how usually get a screw in my tire, too close to the side of the tire.
Discount tire will replace said tire, only cost to you is if tire price went up since you purchased. Even if the screw may have magically ended up there when the tire is 3 years old and has 50k miles on it.

Very easy answer: yes, it most certainly is unethical.

Find a local tire business. Like guy said: avoid chains.

McDonald’s tire in Baton Rouge will match anybody’s price. Good people there.
