Paying a full sales force 6 figure salaries adds up. Maybe going it alone wasn't the best route.
Apparently alot of the $50 million was to build the manufacturing plant
Still.. there's really not much positive here

I take comfort in the fact that positive news would've driven the price down a similar amount

I got the Robinhood alert about the plummet and assumed they announced the acquisition

i guess to fill the glass back up to halfway...
They only had roughly 40 days to sell a drug that requires a prescription AND insurance approval... during a pandemic
I guess I can give them a little leeway

If management wants to keep this in double digits they're going to have to leak some serious #s between now and then..

Do we sell? Lol. I feel like that is the dumb thing to do but if I can get out at only a 10% loss after holding for 9 months I feel like that would be a blessing. Currently looking at 25% loss around $10.

If this happened a year ago during Trump-Pump-Mania, I'd have no reservations about dumping it.. but right now? Where you gonna put your money instead?

Adding another 100 shares today. 2 months of sales on a drug that requires a PA and specialty pharmacy are going to be basically zero.

Most people thought 100 scripts would be the ceiling.
They got 250 in NO time.

On the call yesterday somebody asked about numbers into Q2 and PG said he wanted to keep the call focused on Q1 but things were rapidly improving. With them being so hush hush I just have a feeling the BO rumors are true and are in the works which is why he won't get specific about the first part of Q2 numbers.

After calming down and reading the call transcript, I'm probably going to be adding this morning as well..
No run-up to earnings = street expected these numbers
Big dump after earnings = retail did not
Something, something, blood in the streets.....

Yea if you think about it. Lupkynis gets approved. LN patients need to stop current treatment. Go see Dr. Get RX. Get RX to specialty pharmacy. Pharmacy has to get approval through insurance which can take up to two weeks sometimes. Basically the numbers coming out of Q1 are LN patients that had an appointment setup within the first 2 weeks of the Lupkynis release. Add to the fact LN patients are immunocompromised to them actually going to an appt during covid is a big deal. Anybody that had higher expectations just doesn't understand how the process works with a rare disease drug like this. This isn't a new blood pressure medicine. The is a life saving drug for patients that previously had little to no legit treatments available.

I think people thought they had a list of patients lined up that were basically sitting by the phone with their checkbook, waiting for FDA approval

Yea I wouldn't doubt some people would think that. Another interesting note on the call was it seems most insurance have added Lupkynis to their covered list in last month or so. Meaning a good number of patients were likely just waiting until their insurance even acknowledged the drugs existence. I think the call stated they have 90% of medicaid patients now covered and that the vast majority of LN patients are on medicaid programs.

Added another 100 shares at open. I have way too much money parked in this thing but I see the pay day coming. Currently 1500 shares strong.
