Earnings call is driving it lower still. This has been a most disappointing hold. Greed kept me from selling years ago after riding it up over $20.

At least it’s back up to $6. I woke up this morning and it was high $5s.

This is brutal.

Holding since 2017. SR and JPM involvement was just the latest hope that did not materialize. My hopes have always relied on a BO, alas we’re still playing with ourselves. I’ll stubbornly be holding tomorrow still.

I guess I'll give it until AGM this year to see if the buyback provides a boost.

Sunk cost fallacy is real here.

Peter is atrocious and there was some real shady stuff happening with the buyout rumor in 2021.

Sold all AUPH today, took my losses, and bought AMD, MSFT, CRSP, and a little PLTR. I’m staying away from small-bio forever. I was naive and woefully optimistic over the past 3-4 years that this will get BO after FDA approval. When you get pummeled over and over again and still hold onto your shares because of a BO possibility, you end up extremely humbled.

Bayoubengals88, I hope you can get away with some cash while you can. While you and other posters who actually do significant due diligence on speculative stocks and share with us on this board, the biggest lesson is to invest only what your comfortable potentially losing, and remember that it’s likely going to $0. It’s been a wild ride guys…hope everyone can recover their losses in the years to come.

Oh, and frick PG!

The thing that stings the most is the lost opportunity to buy PLTR, NVDA, AMD, AMZN, etc over the last 12-18 months because funds were tied up in AUPH.

What could have been…

What is the longer term outlook of the company now that a BO is off the table? It looks like it has solid revenue growth, cash flow positive in Q4 and $300+m in the bank.

I wouldn't presume to guess... 10% of the float has been traded so far today and potentially 15-20% of all shares could be bought back.

If they trim spending by a significant margin while buying back shares and adding revenue, that's great, but why not start 2-3 years ago??

I want to see all upper management buying boatloads of shares on the open market over the next few weeks.

Hidden in the ER is the patent protection they've bragged about for years could actually be challenged by an Abbreviated New Drug Application for a generic version... if approved by the FDA (or hell even just the threat of approval) would likely finish this stock off

That was enough for me. I am going to hopefully ride a small wave back to $7s to sell off the remainders. It is a sad day given where this all started.

I saw an article where large investment firms were dumping 300k into the stock and just yesterday, another dumped almost 100k in the stock.

What the hell happened from almost 8ish again, and now sits at 5ish.

Wthh? I did buy more with credit card points.

Do you really not know? They had their earnings calls and announced the end of the strategic review with no buyer.

They said that they shopped 60 companies and only had one non-formal offer.

The plan is now for a 15% company stock buyback and to slash all production of new drugs along with 25% of employees.

That's chump change my friend.

You're going to be ok here buying so low, but the ceiling is much, much lower than what I previously thought.

I would say just be patient, but that's a joke. I've been hear seven years.

I don't understand how the board thinks that is appropriate given the results. Either, we are being played for the 3rd/4th time and an opportunity is happening this year, or he is just riding until he has so many shares that any price to sell out for a few million is enough. Leaving the longs holding heavy, heavy bags.

Purely corruption

Board is packed with people willing to ignore their duty to guard the interests of the company and the investors.

This is the kind of example that gives credence to the criticisms of stock market corruption in which insiders like company officers and board members are counts with greed but no character.
