Trump said on his plane tariffs will be "nicer" than what they charge us. Doesn't this mean that the expectation on tariffs wont be as bad as everyone thinks and market will flip back up?

I've averaged up since mid-January (except for a quickly corrected tumble mid-March), but then I spent last year buying nothing but securities. A couple of weeks ago I got rid of some low performers and dumped that money into GLD (Roth account). Those have helped keep me in slow but fairly steady growth since mid-January, putting me up 7% thus far for 2025.
For shits and giggles I also put some cash into my play account and bought some SQQQ in case we're in the beginning of a tech stock reset.
