Anyone else looking at Pfizer here (PFE)

Obviously stock has been crushed by the COVID business basically gone now.
Currently sitting around a 10 year low right now in stock price.
Balance sheet looks pretty healthy, even accounting for the massive drop in revenue from the COVID business going to zero. Non-covid growth is projected 6-8%.
Acquisition of Seagen now going through, which gives them a very strong pipeline of drugs in oncology. Probably one of the better oncology drug makers in the world.
Forward PE around 14.7x compared to industry peers of 49x. Granted all those other companies are looking at massive multiple expansions due to the weight loss drugs. However, big biotech indexes will lift PFE with it.
That being said still a biotech, so tons of risk still.

Did they turn you into a newt?

Outside of a nice dividend PFE has been dead money for 23 years, and even then it’s been awful. Stock is up 35% since June 2000 with dividends reinvested.
That being said, I like it here.

Yeah not expecting tech sized returns here, but pretty solid play with a fat dividend. That probably rebounds in share price over the next few years.
Biotech is all about the promise, if you are waiting to make big money after FDA approvals you are way too late.
This could be a nice play in a frothy market.

Currently own about 25 shares at about avg of 29. I'm just here for the dividends.

I bought 20 shares in May at $37 when I thought it was bottoming.
Lost 24% since then.
Probably just let it ride now

They may be looking at some class action suits along with Moderna. I’ll be glad to miss any gains they may have.

Every biotech is in constant ligation it is the cost of doing business. That is why profit margins are so high, only way to stay in business.

Doubled up my shares recently and considering just plopping my Roth buy into PFE in January and letting it do its drip thing for 25 years. Should be just fine

I sold with a decent LTCG and have no intention of investing in PFE again. Think you should look at GSK instead.

A few more “PFE is the devil” comments and I’ll know it’s time to start buying.
Same with META last year.

METAs drawdown was outright criminal if you still care about fundamentals

Absolutely not. Dead money for decades, pipeline outside of vaccines is awful, management too woke and UK centric.
