AT's issue was that he bought the sales pitches and got others to do the same, kinda on the scale of the worst MLMs.
He thought everything was going to the moon and just ignored everything fundamental about stocks.
I remember him still pumping HMBL hard hard to others here and the discord room while I was cautioning that there were several million shares out there just waiting and itching to dump out at any moment's notice. These weren't institutions, just regular dumb money OTC diamond hodlers that were in the money by millions and were ready to market dump on anyone still believing the story.
In the end, he sold snakeoil and got high off his own supply.

I'm holding super heavy hmbl bags (5 figs). If I can recoup, say 25% of my investment, I'll take it. AT was not to blame; however. It was the guy who got arrested for pumping and dumping on Twitter.

I bought CRYBF at $2.44/share it tanked shorly afterwared and is now .1997 per share. AncientTiger is so full of it. Thank goodness I only bought $425 worth.

If I had cashed out on AT picks and Upperdecker’s BlackBerry pick from early 2021, I’d be in heaven right now. Instead I lost all the profits and most of my initial investments waiting on a moonshot.
Lesson learned.
A lesson I should have learned after TigerDad’s LVVV fiasco.
Alas, I usually have to have two big mess ups before I finally learn.

Just curious, why are yall still holding those stocks?
Harvest the loss and put it in something that will make you money. Making that money back on that particular stock is no better than making it back on something else.

I did make out really well on ZOM and WKHS but the other suggestions were horrific. As a result of of those losses I put my money in HUBB which is doing pretty damn good these days.

Probably won’t believe me but right when all the micro cap hype started picking up steam I bought $5,000 of OZSC for .02 in Jan 2021. It had been trading at .005-.008 up until Dec 2020. They claimed they had a deal to supply charging infrastructure to Tesla and others. Shot up to .45 in less than a month. I was greedy and didn’t sell at the peak, hoping it would rebound. Got out at .25. It dropped from .45 to .20 in 2 weeks and slowly went down from there
Turned out to be a total scam and trading at .0009 right now. There were hundreds of similar OTC companies who had similar charts during that time period. I could see another micro cap bubble happening again at some point now that they’ve all gone below their pre-COVID prices
