I knew there was a chance that this would happen, based upon past articles over the last few months. However, that didn't stop me from obtaining an AMEX Costco card.
Looks like I'll have till 2016 to use it. Curious to see if Capital One wins out with MasterCard or VISA.

You can still use amex they will just take other cards now

I think they are going to discontinue the AMEX-COSTCO card and offer people that have one a different AMEX card.
