I’ve been in and out of this for small profits. Just bought back in at 2.92. Anyone still on this one?
I’ve been in and out of this one more than little sweetheart I know from Monterrey, Mexico.
Just bought back in her at $2.58

I sold at 3.53, bought back in at 2.60 and then doubled my position when it hit $2.44.
I hope this thing takes off by year end.

Significantly missed on expected EPS but beat expected revenue. Up 10% on the day. Not sure what to make of that long term.

The next drug is their blockbuster.
The current one made 33 million this quarter. Did I read that correctly?

Favorable momentum again.
FDA decision by 29 March 2022 for those interested.

I bought this below $3. What are people thinking about for an exit price? I’ve got a sell at $5. Am I too high?

You’re thinking what I’m thinking.
I plan to load up to maybe 1,000 shares below $4.
I’ll probably sell most of them before the fda decision. $5-6 is attainable before then.

Quietly up to 507 shares and adding more tomorrow before earnings. The duration of this accumulation range has been a pleasant surprise. I don't think AKBA will stay below $3 for too much longer, and when it doesn't I think we see 3.50 quickly.
Vadadustat PDUFA is starting to gain steam. It's already approved in Japan with Otsuka partnership.

Now days I’m buying $6/week, but considering throwing more at it before the big day.
No worries here. Sector dragging it down.

I’m up to about 5000 shares. I think it hits $3 in the next couple of months.

Agree. This is the time of year where biotech shines and the sector is quite oversold on weekly charts.

What is it about this time of year that makes biotech shine? I would agree that at least this year the charts are all beat to hell with most biotech stocks, so hopefully they've bottomed out and should be on their way back up.

Seasonality is a real thing in markets. Several sectors have seasonality. Probably a self fulfilling prophecy of sorts.

Good run today. Hopefully this is the start of a trend.

What are your thoughts on the news? I’m assuming there is contingency language in the contract dependent on approval, so does this really change anything? If so, what?

I'd be lying if I said I've had enough time to digest it. It seems that Vifor is showing everyone that they're taking a sizable risk on good results, which should raise confidence going forward.
