I had 4500 shares, now have 3500. Would love to see the revenue increase we should be seeing by end of summer.

Same. This is my favorite stock of 2025 in respects to just hoping for a nice shoot up throughout the year.

That March low in the 0.80s was one of the best buys I’ve made in years.

Once Davita and Fresenius get their systems in place Akebia's revenue will soar. I am looking forward to it. I think this could see by the end of the year some life changing money for some on this board. I am holding a little over 50k shares.

Wow. Do you have any certain target? Trying to figure that out now for myself.

Im at 3500 shares, if we get a dip I may double my position. But, if not I will be happy with some nice earnings.

AKBA has announced the commencement of an underwritten public offering of common stock. The company plans to grant underwriters a 30-day option to purchase up to an additional 15% of shares at the public offering price, less underwriting discounts and commissions.

The offering will be managed jointly by Leerink Partners and Piper Sandler & Co. as bookrunning managers. The shares are being offered through a shelf registration statement filed with the SEC on September 3, 2024, and declared effective on September 12, 2024.

Son of a bitch. Just as the stock was rolling our CEO comes in and kills the stock like clockwork. Terrible timing again.

Akebia 25M share Spot Secondary priced at $2.00

The deal range was $2.00-$2.20. Leerink and Piper Sandler acted as joint book running managers for the offering.

Why would they issue these shares so cheap? It was trading at $2.85!

I'd imagine that any investor who wants to buy that many shares has to justify the cost. $2 is a fair price based on the last 6 months of trading...much moreso than 2.50 or 3.

It's all part of the biotech journey.

I don't understand the timing at all unless there is some big announcement coming soon.

That's the thing about offerings. The timing is never good for the shareholders. They were likely working on a $2 deal when the stock was around 1.80

I'm not saying that the market won't consume this and move forward.
It happens.

While the 2.00 price sucks, I dont mind them having 50 million on hand to insure that they run into zero operational problems over the next year. Hopefully it was seen as a need based on a larger demand than anticpated , one can dream.

It's about that right now. I picked up 200 more shares for now. I'd love for this stock to get to around $6 and I'll probably jump out. Not sure how high this thing can go but that would be a huge haul.

I grabbed another 1000 shares, I am done. Hopefully we see some positive news on earnings, but it may be two quarters too early to see the uptick. I am sure the roll out has been more costly than anticipated, everything is.
