Okay Money guys, where to but a 1000 bucks. Don't care if I lose it or not. Please don't tell me to put it all on black or red.

Before you think this is a joke I am a very conservative investor. Never have taken a lot of risk and I am happy with the returns I have with the returns from my pension and 401 k and I have supplemented retirement with Dividend paying whole life with Mass and NY Life. I don't believe in a lot of risk but willing to throw a grand away maybe more. What you got?

Assuming you have no debt, the best place to put $1000 is investing in yourself. Buy some training, go to a conference. Something that you can make yourself worth more.

If you want to bet on a stock, I like up and coming gig economy companies like WAITR. I got in around $10.20 and its at $12 in a couple of months.

The biggest debt I have is my mortgage and a couple grand is not going to do much. So waitr eh? I see those people everywhere. Chick fil A, tcby and every restaurant on the Northshore. That sounds like a really good tip

Go buy Ethereum . Use that Ethereum to buy Chainlink. Wait a few years. you now own a piece to the 4th industrial revolution and that $1000 bucks is now $10,000 bucks

what you are talking about doing (dropping 1K on a stock from ppl you dont know on the internet, without any research at all) is a bigger risk than a sports bet

If you're close to retirement just go enjoy the money then. $1,000 isn't going to do anything anywhere.

But an ounce of physical Platinum bullion.
It’s shiny. It’s an industrial metal in demand. It’s an investment precious metal in a good position.

Nearly effortless to sell at any local coin shop. Worst case scenario - hand it to a jeweler to make you a ring.

They are blowing up. They are going to sell off to a big boy or buy their competition. Either way its a decent shot at making a good return over the nest 18-24 months without a lot of risk. I'm like you - I don't have a lot of risk, but I do own WAITR. Good Louisiana people started it as well

This guy thinks you have a lot of risk.

quote:

We believe that Waitr Holdings is a stock running on fumes, backed by conflicted Wall Street brokers, and the worst way to play the trend in food delivery.

quote:

we view WTRH as a company teetering on the brink of extinction due to undisclosed litigation risks, high leverage, alarming cash burn, a complete unwillingness on the part of management to provide any color on forward earnings, and a competitive landscape that makes WTRH look like a JV high school basketball team facing the Kobe/Shaq LA Lakers.
