The funny part about it is HE told me where to go look and find his lies.

Since you liked my first boom gif, here's another one! (Give it a few seconds to completely cycle.)

I was considering giving poor Josh a few quick pointers on how to extricate himself from his mess but he's passed the point of no return now after getting busted about Mt. Gox.

Straight to the singularity for him. And not the one that's a metaphor for the utopian future. The black hole crushing kind.

Were you lying back then or are you lying now? One thing is for sure though and that is that you have lied about this.

Oh yea you guys really boomed me. I made a single transaction on Mt Gox. I think my point still stands (I even said I was trying to use Coinbase which really implies how Mt. Gox was my favorite).

Seriously though, why do these discussions boil down to these fricking idiotic gotchas? Mt Gox was never an exchange I held much faith in. Russia says that it was my favorite exchange. In reality, I cited it for price because it was the dominant exchange and had the most relevant information, that is no longer the case and because of that I don't use them.

I told you to look at Wiki's prediction thread:

LINK

To quote his topic post:

quote:

*MtGox price is used because it was the only exchange with substantial volume throughout the entire year, and thus it's difficult to compare the beginning of the year price to the end of the year price using other exchanges.

There's basically two people on here holding the torch for bitcoins. You and Wiki. You've said many things that don't hold water and I've usually just watched others point it out. But today, I went to the thread you referenced and found a...well, lie that you told and I pointed it out.
So, you either lied today when you were dismissing Mt Gox and said you've never used it, or you were lying back then when you said you did use it.

You followed it, you used it and you tracked it daily according to your previous posts and now that it doesn't fit your argument you dismiss it. It calls into question everything you've said.

No man has a good enough memory to make a successful liar.

That's not what the implication here is:

I owned a fraction of 1 a couple of weeks ago, but I bought 1 @ 116 last week.

I've only used Mt. Gox.

Am I just being petty? It's hard to know.

It's not like I was intentionally lying, I simply forgot that I used Mt Gox (Which in your quoting of me I even say I only used it because I hadn't been verified by Coinbase). Is that so hard to believe?

Those "fractions" I talked about were a few cents given to me through a faucet.

Stop with the gotchas, seriously. It has nothing to do with the discussion. The Mt Gox price is currently irrelevant regardless of if I transacted with it and cited it for price movements a year ago.

It's going to be interesting to see the development of the in-the-works Chase Bank clone of a digital currency system. Some preliminary information about it has been leaked (provided).

I said early on when wiki first started his bitcoin crusade, I said some company would be the digital currency developer, not some anonymous, mysterious and unethically purposed entity.

I remember saying it would probably be a company like Google that would lead the way.

Do you know how Google began development of Android? Are you aware that Google can develop the BTC protocol without creating a new one? Are you aware that if Google were to make another Crypto-currency it would be based off of Satoshi's PoW development?
