Like most of these coins the price and market cap was an illusion. 99% was wash trading, once the creators got enough suckers to put any decent amount of liquidity in the market they rugged it.

I don’t understand how anyone gets rugged on these.
Isn’t the entire premise of these shitcoins to rug? Like it’s not a secret that they are created specifically to rug those who buy it.

I need to look up wash trading and understand it a bit better. I thought it was fake volume by market makers where they skimmed money from from investors using bots as it fluctuated or something

That’s a trick I learned from Hawk coins. Apparently you have to make sure which presale you are offered….because if there was a pre-presale, you’re just as screwed as the people you’re hoping to screw.

It's because the people who get rugpulled actually think they are the ones who will be doing the rugpull. Everyone who's going to get paid has their coins for a pittance in the secret presale, then the word starts to go out on "insider" Twitter channels.
The people who think they're the first to know buy in en masse to catch what they believe are the rubes (not knowing they are also the rubes). There are still a bunch on the far back end who are also suckers, but they're the ones who will fall for anything.
Then all the actual insiders sell off their presale tokens at an agreed upon time and everyone else gets boned.

Well they don’t typically hit an $18 billion market cap before they rug. That would theoretically make it a top 10 overall project. Bigger than Solana lol

Had an acquaintance hit me up four or five times over a couple years letting me in on an upcoming secret presale. Just had to send the money to his fund and I’d be looking at 10x gains in a matter of weeks. That guy is currently locked up, negotiating his plea deal before he spends the next 10 years in federal prison.
These shite coins make for dangerous living.
