You do understand that all of the coaches must recruit and pay for players now. Maybe our DB coach can’t coach and our DC can’t recruit…. AND LSU IS GETTING OUT BID FOR PLAYERS. It is that simple

Without doing film study, those TD’s the TE made were either on the Safety or the LB. One of the plays it appeared it was Penn’s coverage with some over the top help from Burns and Burns jumped one of the WR’s crossing the middle. Very rarely will the CB be covering the TE unless it’s in some type of Zone 3 deep coverage, which is what happened when he got behind Zy on that one play. When the QB scrambles, it’s very hard for DB’s to maintain coverage. That’s why keeping the QB in the pocket and being disciplined in the rush lanes is imperative. I think our rush defense did a poor job of that and tackling. It can’t be all on the DB’s.

Interesting. I saw our two tackles shoving, Womack with a sack and an emerging Weeks who wasn’t top 300 until the final week of the recruiting cycle. What a clown take.

On top of his inconsistency in coverage he’s also been really horrible at tackling.

That’s LSU’s pre season All-SEC selections. Five out of seven were signed by Brian Kelly.
Whitt Weeks looks pretty good. Heard seems pretty good. Jackson seems pretty good. Womack seems pretty good. Thank God he got Andre Sam out of the portal.
I think he’s done pretty well. Not perfect, but not bad.
