Just because we didn't throw it for 300 yards and had to punt a few times doesn't mean we weren't dominant on O. If you say we weren't dominant on D, I would like to smoke some of your drugs.
We were very efficient on 3rd down (7-13 I believe). We ran it at will last night.
Like it or not, this staff will run it down the opponents throats if we can in every single game. Don't ever use the prior game as an indication of our throwing tendencies for the next game. Until we have a QB that proves hr is comfortable throwing 30 times a game, we simply won't.

miles is always going to do the minimum to win games and that is something negas can't relate to. what they overlook is that other teams with more "wide open" offenses aren't winning more games.

Mettenberger was quality. He took a little while to develop, but Jennings and/or Harris have plenty of time to do the same before their eligibility expires, a lot more time than he did.
Winning just under 10 games a season given the opponents LSU has had in the last 10 years is more impressive than what just about any other coach has done during that time.

I like Miles and all, and we're playing better, improving, but we're talking Florida and Kentucky here--and we won the Florida game thanks to a dropped TD pass. 8-4 and a top 25 ranking is now possible though, and I'm glad for that, considering this is how I predicted the 2014 season would go.
