That was a culture building decision. Whether they got it or not, he was showing the team that he’s going to put it in their hands to try to win games.
would love to know how the players felt about the decision to go for 2.

It was not the conventional call, but it was the right call. That's good coaching right there.

1st and 10 at the 25, Daniels busts it for an immediate TD. That's a gut punch to a defense. When you get that opportunity, you don't back off and let them re-group; you go for the jugular right then and there.

Fantastic coaching instincts on Kelly's part.

absolutely right.

Thought good call. Was for the call no matter the outcome.

My exact reaction was "I wouldn't go for this... unless they have a specific play in mind that they just know will work"

All I could do was smile listening to Kelly talk about the play. It's so refreshing to have a coaching staff with *attention to detail* that has a plan for all game situations.

It was the right call not only because it worked but we're not great in close situations like that.

I’m sure I wasn’t alone, but I called it as soon as Daniels scored and my dad told me I was crazy. Then I reminded him of the FSU game. I was 100% on board with the call, no matter the result. If you keep handing the ball to Bryce Young, he will eventually beat you, even with BOB as his OC.

My brother and I were messaging during the game. We thought he was nuts and I was shitting a brick. My brother being an Oregon fan could have cared less but pulls for LSU. When they were lining up for the snap I remembered this play, they ran it against Florida I think. It worked good then. But still a ballsy call.

When the call was made I looked at my wife and said I love it! Even if they don't make the play I love the call and the mindset behind it...
