It would tank two recruiting years.

Id break out a bottle that is reserved for the national title. But it would take guts and leadership to pull this off at this point. I'm fairly convinced that there's not much of either around anymore.

Cool, 1 more year, 1 last chance to right the ship.

Not much different than my reaction to him being fired, which is cool, let's move forward and get the right guy in here.

I won't be a season ticket holder next year if miles remains the head coach at LSU

If Les is back with Steele and Cameron, we'll be exactly the same as we are right now.

Whatever happens, I'm ok with it. What I am not ok with is a fricking board member publicly saying our coach is probably gone ,days before a top 25 matchup with ole miss. That's fricking bush league shite and however little people think of Miles,he didn't deserve that.

I can't imaging BOTH Alleva and Miles staying. Right or wrong, he does not support Miles. One of them needs to be gone.

It would depend on what sort of changes were made to the staff.

It's hard to envision Miles returning for 2016, but it's certainly possible. If he could pull in a home-run OC hire, and then promise to leave them alone (ha!) - he might return.

By orders of magnitude, this is the hottest Les' seat has gotten. He either adjusts the offense in a big way or he's gone; that's about the only hope anyone could have if he somehow returns for 2016.

Not surprised. I'll be expecting nothing less than the SEC championship next year.

There'll be a lot of fan malaise if miles comes back.

Can only hope for the best that he hires an competent OC or let Cam fully run the offense, disciplines the team and stay the frick away from the offense. Entertain the media and nation with his quirky pressers, call his trick plays, fake field goals, fake punts, go for it on 4th down, but stay the frick away from the offense. I don't want to see a playsheet in his hands.

He's got a NC ring.. What else is there to prove? Do what you need to do to win and solidify yourself as a legend at LSU.

He has everything, all the tools, resources and recruits to be successful.. he literally controls his own fate and destiny.

No one thinks we should go undefeated every season. Listen to yourself dude. We just believe that with the talent LSU has, 4-4 in the SEC isn't acceptable. Stop settling mediocrity and aspire for greatness.........not going undefeated.

He has been the most successful coach we've ever had and before you say," since 2011" we have finished top 15 2 of those 3 years. Look I'm all for change but don't act like he hasn't been successful. Even since 2011. He just hasn't been as successful and we as lsu fans have to watch saban dominate the conf.

I'll be fine. In fact, I'm hoping he's staying for another reason, now, and that reason is to weed out the crap fans. I won't miss any of the whiners around here. They'll whine over the new coach in short order.
