In that order. That's how special and transformative Burrow has been to LSU. He took us from offensive futility to a historic offense.

What would your Mt. Rushmer list be for the players from 1971 until now?

Man you can't leave the honey badger off of this list for LSU. You just can't. He is without a doubt one of the 4 best players to ever play ball at LSU. Burrow, cannon, honey badger, and idk...the last one is tough because LSU has had so many great players in it's history. I hate these topics making me try and choose only 4 great players for LSU...it's seriously tough to just narrow it down to 4 players lol.

It’s too tough. You have to have:
Cannon
Tittle
Casanova
Stovall
Then another with:
Burrow
Dorsey
Faulk
Mathieu
FIFY
Fournette does not belong anywhere close to a Mt. Rushmore!

I see where you're going but having anyone ahead of Maravich is laughable but not having him on the list is just blasphemy!

No.
Fair enough. I'd like to hear your side.
I think we all know that Stovall was robbed of the Heisman by the QB from Oregon St...
SEC Player of the Year (1962)
Unanimous All-American (1962)
2× First-team All-SEC (1961, 1962)
LSU Tigers No. 21 retired
Stovall was a unanimous choice for the All-America team of 1962 at halfback. He won the Walter Camp Memorial Trophy as the nation's best back, was named SEC Player of the Year, and was the runner-up for the Heisman Trophy. He finished 89 votes behind Oregon State's Terry Baker.
Stovall became LSU's head coach as an emergency hire after new head coach Bo Rein died when his plane depressurized and disappeared over the Atlantic Ocean.
In Stovall's four years with the Tigers (1980–1983), LSU finished 7–4, 3–7–1, 8–3–1, and 4–7. Only one of Stovall's teams appeared in the final AP Poll: the 1982 team. That team finished the season ranked No. 11 after it beat No. 4 Florida, No. 8 Alabama, and No. 7 Florida State and earned a spot in the Orange Bowl, where LSU lost, 21–20, to a No. 3 Nebraska team led by Tom Osborne. As a result of his performance in 1982, Stovall was named the national coach of the year by the Walter Camp Football Foundation, as well as the SEC Coach of the Year.
Glenn Dorsey
BCS national champion (2007)
SEC champion (2007)
Lombardi Award (2007)
Outland Trophy (2007)
Bronko Nagurski Trophy (2007)
Lott Trophy (2007)
SEC Defensive Player of the Year (2007)
2× First-team All-American (2006, 2007)
2× First-team All-SEC (2006, 2007)
He finished ninth in the 2007 voting for the Heisman Trophy, receiving more votes than any other defensive player in the nation. In addition, Dorsey was awarded the Bronko Nagurski Trophy, the Outland Trophy, the Lott Trophy and the Lombardi Award, becoming the only player to win all four awards.

Stovall was screwed out of winning the Heisman from the National voters. He was a great player
