That's a bunch of useless crap you won't know what to do with in 50 years IMO ...

bullshite...I think the newspaper of the day he and his father attended the game together is kick arse and will mean a great deal to him one day when his father is no longer with him.

Also, I think the other stuff was also pretty cool if you have a house one day with a media room or a man cave, all that shite will be nice to have.

I just got these 20"x30" prints back from the framer today (one's the 2011 Auburn game, and the other is a sunrise from earlier this year)...

The sunrise or sunset is bad arse. You should have a cut out underneath it in the matting saying it will soon be Saturday night in Death Valley

Since you indicated you are young, thought I would help you show off your collection correctly. The original east side upper deck opened up in 1978 vs Indiana. The dates you indicate are correct in that this is how Tiger Stadium was from 1979-1999. It was also like that in 1978.

Probably over thinking this one man. That pictures probably from 1979...

I do have a baseball that hit my dead in the head (go ahead and laugh) at a game at the box. A kid stood up on the seat ahead of us and ducked at the last possible second. My dad had to get 6 stitches. He brought it back the next day and got the guy from the other team who hit it sign it - I think it was Arizona but that was 15 years ago or so.

I have a bunch of Advocates and State Times (remember the afternoon paper in BR) going back to the 70's on football and baseball at LSU. Not framed, just a stack I keep in a box.

Not real fancy but I like it:

I've also got a helmet but it's still in the box, so I can't take a pic.

New Orleans Police badge from the '03 BCS game:

Season tickets, still connected by the perforations from '05, Miles' first year.

Just got this back from the frame store, still has the plastic wrapping on it:

And I have a million shirts and hats. An LSU hot pad, clocks, laundry hamper, pens, little footballs, backpacks, etc.....

Framed newspaper from the 2010 bama game that my dad had framed. Not the biggest win in school history but he and i had a great day.

Awesome, man. I wish I had the paper from the Arkansas 2011 game. My last game as a student and probably my dad's last in Tiger Stadium

I live 34 miles from Mich State, really poor fans.

I lived in East Lansing for 3 yrs. There are too many bandwagoneers among them, especially the students. If the FB team has 1 or 2 losses by the start of Oct., a sizable portion are already talking about basketball & hockey seasons. Also, the fan base puts way too much emphasis on beating scUM (as they call it) in any sport.

I have an LSU game used ball signed by Jamarcus, a set of Doucet's WR gloves signed, a ball signed by Glenn dorsey, and a ball signed by the 2007 NC team.

The newspaper will probably have back issues still of the paper from that day. May not mean as much to you, but still would have the memories.

I don't often agree with a gump, but this is spot on.
