Hahaha. Yeah, I'm young. I'm spoiled with LSU/Saints success.

The 1995 Bring Back the Magic game when I was 8 years old. I grew up in the Midwest and my dad (trying to remember) had gone down to the game. He had not gone to a game in a while and was really excited. When he got back I just remember him talking all about the victory. He gave me the front cover of the newspaper that says "MAGICAL". Still in my bedroom whenever I go home.

I love LSU football because it's something my dad and I share. Those Saturday afternoons were you root so hard for your team to just somehow pull it off and they do....man there is not a better feeling than enjoying that victory and having that post game phone call with your dad.

Savor that. Absolutely one of the most bittersweet things about being in the Superdome in January 2004 was feeling how desperately I wanted to reach in my pocket and call my Dad and talk about the game with him...that after waiting so long he'd finally gotten a chance to see the Tigers win another NC...but he had been gone for a little over a year. One of my most powerful memories of that night was feeling that huge hole in the middle of that wonderful sensation of having been there to see LSU do it.

1968 Sugar Bowl...sleeted like hell. Wyoming had running back who was also a hell of a punter named Jim Kiick who went to play for the Dolphins on the undefeated team.
Losing 13-0 at half and won 20-13.

Before I knew about the Miles connection, I saw LSU destroy VT a few yrs back. I thought "DAMN"!!!!

When the Miles thing hit, I ran across some decent folks on this site, and started rooting for LSU when it doesnt affect Michigan.

LSU is the only team, other than my own, I actively root for in CFB. I prefer to see teams from Michigan win(even the Sparties), but I dont actually like them.

I'll say 2000 LSU/Tennessee. Being in Memphis, you learn to loath Tennessee (in fact there is no team I detest more if a team from the SEC had to get the death penalty I would want it to be them). Reaux, Teaux and Reed really put on a show that game.
