You think Joe B. Is talking to his former teammates at OSU to get some insight..

Why you say hell no? Why wouldn’t he is more like it. You do realize he is still friends with some players over there right?

I think adjustments will be absolutely crucial. I think it’ll be close but how will Clemson adjust if our offense goes crazy. How can Burrow adjust? How can our defense adjust? I also wonder how much both teams run. Against Ohio State, Clemson barely ran Etienne and I think our rushing defense is really good. If they Rush 3 and Drop 8 we will just run all over them.

I would just focus on what they do and have been doing

If you don’t think he’s talked to his buddies at OSU about Clemson, you are delusional.

what would any of them tell him that the film wouldn’t show?

He's still pretty tight with some Buckeye players. Doubt there's any game-changing info.

But wouldn't be surprised if a tidbit or two was passed along.

He and Haskins have remained friends, talking weekly last year & ongoing, so it is a safe bet there has been some exchange of information

I think Joe probably trusts his and Ensminger's and Brady's evaluation of the film more than what a former teammate might pass on from the game. I just think they are zeroed in and doing their own prep at an extremely high level.

Joe's father has probably watched a ton of tape this past week and could offer a good scouting report.

Yes. Yes, he does. However, his friends couldn't pull it off. Why rely on your friends' responses when you can rely on a coaching staff that turned you into a Heisman winner when your friends' team didn't even have you listed as the back up QB?

I think Joe Burrow will be placing his full trust in the coaching staff that has dominated college football thus far this year.

For someone to think it's stupid to talk to a friend or friends who just played them is being disingenuous. He should take advantage of every opportunity he has to prepare and win this game.

Joe's buddies at OSU can tell him how to lose a game to Clemson. That is information that Joe doesn't need to know.

I doubt his father would do that. His father knows there needs to be one unified message. Joe can't focus if he has info coming from several angles.

Not just teammates. Probably Ryan Day as well.
