You have to be optimistic about our team right now

even if your cautiously optimistic. a game like last one, when Nuss made so many bad decisions, including throwing long into coverage time after time, not running for the first down when it was there for the taking, etc etc etc, yet he came threw with some beautiful throws in clutch situations. If he gets on the learning curve, which I fully expect, look out. I also expect more of him taking the shorter passes as well.
love what blake baker is doing. if we had the same staff as last year, we would let teams methodically move the ball downfield without trying to get to the qb. we aren't a great defense, but turning into a really good one with the pressure and an improving secondary and linebacking play.
I am in the camp that if durham is healthy and nuss will start running when it's wide open then the running game will improve. I also like the toughness of Josh Williams this year.
We're in it until we're out of it. Geaux Tigers!

Every single game will likely be a dog fight.
On the plus side our pass rush and pass defense is getting better. We don’t give up and have a lot of fight.
On the downside we still struggle to run the ball which may mean we struggle to close out close wins.

If the defense keeps improving at the rate they have been, anything is possible with this team. I don't think they're at the level to win the natty, but a playoff win is possible.

D has come a long way pretty quickly. Just look at Greg Penn and Major Burns. They don’t just look improved - they look like different players.

Ole Miss was a "coming out" party for the defense. They played with their hair on fire and showed themselves that they are legit.
If the running game can wake up and do the same, sky's the limit.
No worries at all about the passing game. It will only improve from here on.
Punish ArKansas and lets keep the ball rolling.

Every single game should be a dog fight. True Tiger fans wouldn’t want it any other way. A dominant win every now and then when we are clicking on all cylinders wouldn’t hurt but for now I’ll take a 1 point victory each and every Sat. Just WIN Baby!

We could've easily been down bad last game bc of horribly uncreative offensive playcalling.
With guys like Anderson and Thomas on the perimeter, we have to put the other team on their toes guessing via motions/etc as opposed to them jumping the obvious run calls.
Despite that, I'm super impressed with our defense and position coaches. How far we've come.
