the biggest complainers are the ones who didn't think we'd win 6 games.

the coaching staff did a helluva job getting us in the west picture and relevant up to the Alabama game.

now those same coaches aren't worth a damn because they couldn't win the championship. this was never going to be a championship team this year. we have to get better on both lines. the staff is giving it everything they have in recruiting.

if we can win our last 3 it will still be a really great season.

final word - even though the oline got terribly outplayed, they were trying hard. you can't ask for more than that. they are tigers.

We got blue balled that is all

When you get so close to the goal and you choke when there's pressure...

i didn't think we'd win 6 games pre-burrow and expected 9/10 regular season wins post-burrow

To your final word, c’mon. Those guys have 120 pounds on me, and I could have at least gotten in the way of the Bama defense. They were mauled. The offensive line was a disgrace. I honestly didn’t see much of an “effort” on their part either.

We will win 9/10 regular season games and potentially a solid bowl game just as you expected.

Will you consider that a good season?

If you think people are more pissed about losing to bama instead of the way that game actually went.

104th in total yards.

At this rate we’ll never be a championship contender.

This isn’t about losing to Alamaba. This is about realizing this program has a weight chained around its ankle that needs to be removed for us to move from good to great.

Our defense carries us when it matters most, and we simply cannot rise to our potential with success in one side of the football.

You can't have it both ways. Can't hype of the new coaches and the job they're doing in the summer and then get bent out of shape when LSU gets embarrassed in prime time and shutout on offense.

Based on half of the posters (I refuse to call them fans) on this site, Burrow sucks. No way you thought a 3rd string QB from OSU was good for an extra 3-4 wins by himself.

7-2 is beyond most expectations at this point. Your record is your record but have to say it’s misleading. the season stats reveal that this team is slightly above average.
The so-called best wins this year
Miami is average at best
Auburn is slightly above average. Thanks to Gus mediocrity
Georgia - above average. They played their C game against us. Should have stuck with the run
Miss st - going through transition.

Nah. Burrow changed the game for me as well this summer. My outlook on the season did a complete 180° turn on May 18th when he announced he was coming here.

Exactly. If you're content with good seasons we are set. If you want championship caliber teams, you're gonna be disappointed.

And it's not that we lost OP. It's how we lost. We got embarrassed. You can't pick and choose. The big picture is it what is. I predicted 10-2. I'm good with that but I'm disappointed in our performance against bama. It's not so cut and dry as you're trying to make it

I’m sorry dude, did you really type that out? And really think it’s a legit answer to the abysmal performance we saw last night from our players and from our offensive staff?

This is actually the first post I've seen you make after the game. Usually you have pretty fair thoughts. What are your thoughts after the game last night?

I've been posting a pretty good bit. I'm disappointed like everyone else, but I don't necessarily think it's the right time to be firing the OC. It's one thing to lose the game, but it's another thing entirely to get shutout and completely abused. I've seen inferior teams come into Tiger Stadium and move the ball on our defenses and put up points. It can be done. Is the loss on the coaching staff? All of them are, but Bama is just better. Is the shut out on the coaching staff? 100%

Don't you understand it's not about losing, but about the nature of the loss?

Les Miles was fired basically for the same thing we're currently seeing. Yet we somehow managed to look even worse against Bama than ever before.

Why did we fire Miles for the same product?

This is what puzzles me about this whole situation. There were some people on here that criticized everything Miles did, good or bad. Lots of folks said for years that the only thing holding LSU back was having Miles as the head coach.

Now, some of the same people who spent years dragging Miles and his "lousy offenses" thru the mud are as content as can be with the performance of this years offense. Nothing but excuses coming from the o-supporters trying to prop up the job that o and his offensive staff has done.

Bama and Saban make for damn near an NFL team. He gets all the recruits he wats from other states. He is an a-hole so that failure is not an option. They have the best roid program in the country.

There is just no hope till that old fricker retires guys.

Your a pretty damn good team. Different coaching could make you better as your offense has been holding you back since Miles. Even with that and maxing out your program you would be hard pressed to beat a Saban lead Bama.

The only ones that have a chance our the really good teams in other conferences who can get lucky and pull one out in the title game.

We are hosed in the West.
