Great Post! Geaux Tigers! I'm proud of all of them!
If you wanna talk about coaching.....how about that guy coaching Bama.....6.7 yards per rush and he comes out throwing the entire 2nd half...and we stuff it. That's all the Bama fans are talking about over here...how their "genius" almost lost em the game!

They didn't lose. Great teams find a way to win these games. We just aren't there yet.
Always next year.

I think we deserve a re-do....just like Bama got last year.
How about the sugar bowl.....1-loss Alabama (to Tex a&m) vs 2-loss LSU?

I think Miles is intimidated by Saban and wanted to win so bad , he kind of went overboard. The Tigers played their hearts out and there were a lot of reasons we lost. Can't blame it on one person.

I can guarantee that Coach Miles is not intimidated by Little Nicky.

Miles had better team, minus kicker.
Team needs to be motivated to play like its USCe or bama week in, week out.
I just have to believe Mett has earned Miles trust after that performance and from here on out we blow doors off everybody and try to sneak in a BCS somehow, some way

to Prominentwon who made the post and to Lawgel who is credited with the original post on another board: this is the best, most thought-out post i have ever read on rant...amen...amen...amen...anybody who wants to put blame on anybody, whether player or coach, of this Tiger football team should go pull for Auburn, or Kentucky or anybody else...saturday night was a tremendous effort by the coaching staff and every player who played out his heart and guts for the Ol' War Skool !!!! THANK YOU PLAYERS AND COACHES for playing the best team in the country like they have never been played before and won't be again this season...instead of all the whining and bitching, we should all be thanking God for Les Miles and the entire staff...who would yall like to have back; DiNardo or Mike Archer????? then you could really bitch...THANKS AGAIN AND GEAUX TIGERS...

Must be since you agree with it, right?

At least the team showed up and proved a lot of people wrong, including almost every one of us. Very proud of the way the offense stepped up and the defense shut down that Bama attack most of the game.
The team isn't there yet, you have to learn to win these kind of games vs top competition. The talent is definitely there and seems to be in sync now.

Yes, you CAN have it both ways.( I thought I was the nitwit here!)
In fact, you MUST have it both ways.
The frustrating thing about being an LSU fan is that you get both the good AND the bad with Lester Miles.
He prepares his team, especially with a bye week as well as anyone. He's one of the top recruiters in the game. He's a fine man. He's a top defenseive coach.Except for 1/9/12, his teams always seem prepared. He puts his team in a positon to win every game.
Yet, he is capable of distinctively bone headed game time decisions that unravel much of the goo dhe has done in recruiting and preparing the talent he puts on the field at the same time.
Les is the contradiction, not those of us who follow and support him in frustration, as well as victory.
