The whole approach at the plate was a cluster frick. A blatantly obvious cluster frick.

It didn’t matter and is a moot point.

Decisions can't simply be evaluated by the end result.

The pitching change was against the grain. It added risk without any upside. Frankly, it was bizarre.

That we couldn't hit the ball doesn't make that decision any less bad. That Coleman pitched well doesn't make that decision any less bad.

It was a terrible decision. But the decision didn’t cost us the game.
You are right on.

Let Doughty catch tomorrow. They stole four bases on Milazo and 2 of those were third. Doughty can’t be worse and he will get a hit every now and then.

Yeah nice dinger he gave up to the guy leading the league in homers

Are you seriously trying to say he wasnt good and hasnt been good lately?

I find it hard to believe that marceaux would have went for the complete game without allowing another run and now we have him for Hoover.

Now I definitely didnt like the move when he made it ,but it kinda worked out . Like I said he wasnt going 9 ,he hasnt all year. It would be worse if he went 9 and we lost.

I'm not gonna kill paul on this because I'm more pissed about the subs he made in the infield

Iirc it's not like landon was pitching out of his mind,he was good but he was getting squared up a little before he was pulled. It's not that big a deal. We got more pressing issues like hoping labas doesnt get hammered again.

I feel better about hilliard tbh.

The pitching to their one DUDE was asinine.

Agreed. First base was open. Should've intentionally walked the guy.

Coleman was pitching well. Let him go deal with the guy after their one guy that can hit. I can't think of his name offhand.

FINALLY seeing the big picture... if they don't hit and get on base we DON"T SCORE! We lost because of that reason right there. Marceaux kept the game manageable and Coleman did the same. Your pitchers MUST have help offensively from their TEAM!!!!

We score one run but Paul's handling of pitching was our downfall.
According to Culotta.
