Who cares? Not many things more meaningless than regular season baseball or basketball polls. Our 2-7 SEC record is the only thing that matters. I guess the win over Texas may wind up mattering if we're on a bubble (not sure if any other OOC wins will help). We've just got to find a way to get to 14-16 or 15-15 in conference play somehow. Seems like after Arkansas, there's a lot of parity in the SEC this year. Would help if everybody kinda cannibalizes each other and the winner finishes 18-12 or there's a big group around 16-14 tied for 2nd. We'll see. It'll be a tough road, but it's baseball, anything can happen. But time's starting to run out, gotta turn it around pretty quickly, starting this weekend.

About right, hell we struggled against Southeastern. Against good pitchers, the hitting is just not there.

For starters, BA’s ranking is the most reactionary one of them all. Coaches and D1 are the better rankings.

Well if LSU puts it together towards the second half of the season and gets to the playoffs. The polls won't matter.

Well deserved, based upon the play of this team, which has become one of the bottom tier SEC teams this year. Will only get worse as the season wears on, based upon 8 SEC teams rated above us. Looks like JJ and staff did not bring in SEC caliber players the past 2 years.
