Hopefully, he is just tired of getting burned in us like he has the last two years. Still not a good sign, but he did say we could end up beating Clemson and going on a roll. I think he is just down on CBK.

This is put up or shut up time for CBK.

If we don't make the playoffs, Kelly needs to be shown the door.

It’s going to be a tough year just cause we are in the SEC. 9-3 is just as possible as 11-1 or 10-2

Why "Yikes"? A guy with a youtube channel thinks we'll go 9-3. I say we go 10-2. So what? It's just another opinion...albeit an opinion from a guy more famous than me but definitely not worthy of a Yikes.

Eh, as long as the defense has gotten better, you'll end up defending him either way. You'll say yes made great hires, good recruiting classes, he's still "rebuilding" from the damage that was done...etc...

Why? His opinion means nothing.

Pate was the sole knowledgeable guy in his biz that went out on a limb picking the Tigers to be a top contender in 2019.

Despite winning in Austin, the close call with Auburn had most not jumping on the bandwagon until we beat Bama.

None of them are ever right...and they expect that. Nature of the business. Pate's one of the best.

Trai Turner and I were on the same flight a few weeks ago. We talked about this years team , and I said that I thought we were going to be very good this year. His response to that was “They better be or Kelly has to go.” I agree with him, but it was good to hear a former tigers thoughts on it.

I have us at 10-2 and I am staying there. I was one of first to bring up CBK on the coaching changes board and fully supported the hire, (although I did not like te Declan shite) So I am a pre hire CBK to LSU guy. That said it’s playoffs or pink slip this year

Why would anyone make that up? Chicken said you registered your account here in the Dee-Da-Dee category so I guess your response makes sense?

He expects Oklahoma to make the playoffs. You do realize picking Oklahoma over LSU to make the playoffs means that he is doing so with the idea of what Venables has been unable to do since at Oklahoma compared to what Kelly has been able to do at LSU.

Venables has 2 losing seasons (one in Big 12) 22 wins 17 losses in 3 years. He took over a team that only had 14 losses the prior 7 years COMBINED! Three of those 14 losses were in the 4 team playoffs.

He's picking Oklahoma even with a tougher schedule.

LSU plays Clemson true enough, but LSU has faired better vs Bama AT Bama, and they get Florida, TAMU, and South Carolina at home. The game vs Oklahoma will be a challenge too, so i do give respect there.

However Oklahoma has to play Michigan, at Bama, at South Carolina, at Tennessee, and they play Texas. Even their home schedule is no easy task. Auburn will not be easy this year, watch what i tell you. Mizzou is improved and Ole Miss is still a challenge (maybe not great though). Their final 7 game stretch could be BRUTAL.

He's picking Oklahoma even though LSU has more talent and pulled a way better portal class.

Oklahoma is bringing back a nice defense but LSU posted 400 yards at 6.27 ypc and 37 points last year. Even if their defense has gotten better, our offense will be significantly better than last year by week 12 this year. That game last year was the first game Hilton caught on as he had returned and gotten back in the groove. Two catches 85 yards 2 TDs.

LSU's transfer portal defensive haul will make their defense top 15 in the country next year.

Oklahoma had some decent WR pickups and bring back Burks off injury. Combined with Mateer they should have a good pass offense. Ott, the RB from Cal should definitely be an upgrade too. However, i just don't see how that compares to what LSU has done. It's great, don't get me wrong, but LSU went ham in the portal and already had elite talent.

He's picking Oklahoma even though they have a year one transfer portal QB and LSU has a 5th year senior QB who has started a year and has thrown almost 750 passes in his career.

Love Mateer's game and would have wanted LSU to get him if Nuss left for the NFL, however we know from experience what transfer portal QBs do year one in the SEC. I'd put my trust more in Nuss after a year of SEC experience.

These same idiots think LSU can hire anybody to be coach. Who the hell would they want that would even come here if LSU goes 9-3, misses the playoffs, and Kelly is fired. Who in their right mind would go here? Also, the recruiring would be completely blown up and all that Kelly has brought in to make a Louisiana centric staff, would be blown up too.

Nobody has 50 million to fire a coaching with a winning record.
