While he wasn't a 5* Delpit was a UNAMIOUS All American last year and a LOT of non LSU football people think he is the BEST RETURNING defensive player in the country. The other starting safety, Jacoby Stevens was actually a 5*. One CB for LSU was ranked by Pro Football Focus as the #2 CB in college football for '19. The other is the highest rated CB coming out of high school since these recruiting sites have been in existence.
As for the Dlinemen and LB you listed. Forget about it. I don't see a starting Dlineman at UT that would be the top backup along LSU Dline. LSU has FOUR LBs on the Butkus watch list. Nuff said.

If it's within 2 TDs I'd be surprised. That 4 or 5 point spread is specifically designed to get Texas fans to bet on it. Noone really thinks you have a chance.

Just watched a good portion of your game against La Tech. Forgive me, but Texas has no chance. The Tech offensive was frequently effective getting runners in space. The QB missed a fairly early TD pass. They ran on the longhorns who appeared on this night to be poor tacklers. There is no way that the UT defense stops the LSU offense. None at all.
The Tech rush was often able to get pressure on SE with 4 linemen and occasionally 3. They had some broken coverages, but looked like better tacklers than the UT defense. I am going to assume that the LSU d is substantially more talented and better prepared. Wow, if the UT team that played La Tech shows up this Saturday, Texas is going to be embarrassed big time.
