I have never felt this positive facing a top ten match-up and I've been a fan longer than most here have been alive. LSU has superior athletes making up every position group. I honestly believe the Tiger defense will smother the Longhorns producing 3 & outs, tackles for losses, hurried passes/interceptions & generally frustrate the Texas offense. This is a defense Texas has not seen the likes of before. Conversly, the LSU offense will be more than productive enough. Tigers win comfortably in double digits.

I'm with you, I haven't felt this good about the Tigers in a long time (I'm an old fart too). It was Georgia Southern, but they didn't make a all facets of our play outstanding. Offense, Defense and Special Teams rocked it. It's going to be a long night for UT.

‘Quiet confidence’ my butt
I’ve been living in Austin since 2004. Been wearing my LSU shirts to work everyday this week. It’s more Blind confidence than Quiet. All the longhorn fans have had so little to talk about for the past decade, they can’t keep their mouths shut about how good they look and how bad they’re going to shock us.
No one wants to hear how Georgia sat all their starters for the draft in the bowl game last year. It’ll be a good game. But I think we all know what’s going to happen
