man you have got to be a moron. in the same thread you said jr wasn't good then you said matt flynn was.you do know that jr was a better qb in every statistical way, right. some of you people must just block out that Flynn shite the bed in games. for gods sake JJ just about put up the same stats Flynn did without a running game. some of you people need to think then post

it has everything to do with dumb people on here saying JJ was no good when in fact he put up basically the Same numbers as Flynn without a good line and without a running game. you know nothing about football if you can't see this little detail.period

wait till our OL improves, then people will think differently.

I'm for JJ all the way. McElroy looked amazing at the NC. Why is that? Even though he barely threw?

Yes, he will improve. His numbers won't, because Studrawa will still be the O-Line coach.

So much depends on the o-line. I mean, with a great o-line John Parker Wilson QB'd the Tide to a 12-0 record. For 2010 I'm more concerned about our o-line (including the effectiveness of the coaching) than I am about Jefferson.

No

I wish i could say otherwise, but I have seen no improvement of him throughout the year to warrant a prediction that his learning curve will be "notable" or significant, which is the real question i posed.

Interesting to hear everone's opinions, and I hope those who voted "Yes" will prove to know best!

I hope I'm wrong, but I vote "No." I do think JJ will improve, but I'm not expecting the "notable" improvement the OP asked for. Agreed, there were a LOT of problems this year w/ the offense, most of which were unrelated to JJ. Nevertheless, I didn't see the type of improvement in the QB one would expect as the season progressed. I'm afraid his performance in the '08 Peach Bowl was just a flash in the pan...

I say he will improve slightly but that will not be enough to be and solid QB.

How many times did Flynn come to that line of scrimmage, Have no idea what to do, and looked totally confused about the game.
