we will be a bubble team so it all depends how we finish out the season, before URI game I was a yes, after it is a big ? mark, after our last two SEC games I'm moving to no.

I think the youth is getting to this team.

must have 20 wins and finish top 4 in SEC or at worst top 5.

after the Rhode Island loss and me personally witnessing the Tennessee abortion, I have to say no unless JJ unleashes the freaking Kraken(*).

(*) Let 'em run, coach!

I really hope that poor shooting doesn't become a habit of JJ coached teams. I love that he brought in great recruits but if he can't develop their shooting this team will never be anything special.

sadly enough, I think that still just puts us on the bubble. with a weak SEC, we need to finish 3rd in the conference to be assured a spot.

...and/or possibly make it to the semis in the SEC tournament.

LSU has 16 games left, all in conference.

If they go 11-5, that'd result in 21-9 record, 12-6 in conference. Is that good enough to land them in the top 4 of the conference standings?

It was last year... sorta.

Last year, only three (3) teams from the SEC made the tourney:

* Florida 29-8 (14-4)
* Ole Miss 27-9 (12-6)
Alabama 23-13 (12-6)
Kentucky 21-12 (12-6)
* Missouri 23-11 (11-7)
Tennessee 20-13 (11-7)

* made NCAA tourney.

What's with all these explanations? It was a simple yes or no answer.

we would have to make the finals if we aren't the 3rd team IMO

I'd love to hear your picks on who gets in from the sec and your reasoning for why you picked them.
