Yes… losing the first game sucks, but we are far from done

FFS…it’s all about the SEC. Learn from the abysmal playcalling and finish teams when you have the opportunity and take care of your SEC business.

You are right.
Consider this…USC’s dline will be one of the worst we face and they dominated LSU’s supposed strength

Best route from here is go to 10-1 on the remaining 11 and be the highest SEC team not in the playoff. If you're 10-2 in the SECG and then lose, I don't think you're getting in

Yea man…I agree. Alabama, Oklahoma, Ole Miss, Texas A&M will be cake walks!
FFS, I just hope we can beat UCLA or Vanderbilt!

It won’t be one of the worst

If you lose and are 10-3, I don't think so especially when you think who would be just missing out. An enormous flaw in the expanded playoff people want to bury their heads in the sand and ignore.
You're much better off not playing in the SECG and just missing out than playing and losing. It's unquestionable.

How can you say this when we have literally never had a 12 team playoff? You have no idea if a 3 loss SEC team in that scenario gets in or not. None of us do.

I'll take losing this game if we make it back to the SEC Championship vs Georgia.

Because I understand how the seeing works. It's not very difficult to see it. Having 3 losses will put you at a disadvantage vs a higher ranked team with 2 losses.
The only thing that remains to be seen is HOW MUCH losing the SECG hurts and how much winning may help because that's much more dependent on if the lower ranked team wins, by how much, etc.
Undefeated or 11-1 and you lose the SECG, you're in almost unquestionaly.
To go get an at-large bid at 10-3, you would need to have the one team you lose to in conference to not be 10-2 (or better) and have everyone else behind you at 9-3. That's not happening this year.

They dominated because they had more guys. They were selling out on stopping the run. Its on Sloan to see that and say screw it and go over the top or use play action.

Our motivation will now be playing spoiler to Ole Miss, Bama, and OU.

This team needs to make some major adjustments to be any better than 8-4.
